Apart from the ceremony, the rules are there are no rules. Do what makes you happy and most of all enjoy your day!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when pets are guests of honour at the wedding.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
This is a tricky one so have turned the question around slightly. If I could only take one photos that sums up a wedding day it would be the exchange of rings. Candid, full of expression, and sums up what the whole day is about. But then I do love a confetti shot...…..
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A bride in full princess/ball gown dress riding side saddle on her horse.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
My beautiful umbrella shot (see photos) backlit with flash form behind the light catches the umbrella cascading lovely soft light onto the couple and lighting the rain drops. Its a shot that actually looks better he heavier the rain!
Describe how you got into photography.
I started as most people do with photography as a hobby. I then moved on to photographing dogs and horses professionally. After many requests I then made the leap into wedding photography which has become my complete and absolute passion.
