David Goodier Photography Full Description
I like to offer people what they actually want and there are really only three options, with me offering all three to suit: 1 - printable photos so you can create your own album and give prints to family & friends, and obviously show-off on Facebook too! 2 - a stunning Wedding Album with anything from 70-200 photos in it 3 - both of the above ... To give you a proper quote for your Wedding I also need to know - How long you'd like me to shoot at your Wedding? That's usually up to 8 hours but can be extended by the hour - and the decision really depends on what time of day you're getting married; whether you want photos of you getting ready or not; if you'd like to plan for some sunset shots to show the beauty of your venue; and if you'd like me to cover 1st dance too So please have a think about both how long you'd like me there photographing your Wedding, what you'd like to do with your photos afterward and we can schedule a phone call, if not a meeting, to confirm details & pricing and arrange a Booking if appropriate :-) Exciting times ahead

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

David Blunkett MP's Wedding where the then Prime Minister Gordon Brown was attending. I later posted that "Today I shot the PM" and my thread turned out to be being watched by Special Branch !!! So I deleted it lol

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Documentary, artistic, romantic, casual & fun

What about your business are you most proud of?

That every couple I've ever shot has had a FAB Wedding Day and loved their photos

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Only ONE !!! Errr, then I guess it'd be to be really selective and only invite people you REALLY want not that you feel pressured into inviting by family! Some Guests really will come just for free food and to slag off your dress !!!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Bringing one's dog(s)

Describe your typical process with a couple.

It varies a lot - but I'd say its all about understanding what my couples really want and then guiding them as to how best to achieve it

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Not so much one photo as at least one session where its only them & me, this is time for them to reflect on their Wedding and EVERYONE loves this time together in an otherwise hectic day

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A B&G shot in a British graveyard because of our pretty & tatty gravestones, it was for an Italian Bride who much prefers our gravestones to those in Italy

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas, a change of footwear and a sense of humour

Describe how you got into photography.

As a teen I knew my mum loved Robins, so I tried to draw her one - I can't draw for tuppence! So I convinced her to buy me a camera instead, and just 24 years later I got her a nice Robin photo lol. It hung proudly on her wall, fading away, for the rest of her life and following her death I buried her with it
