Probably my first back in 2008 at Gurnard Pines, I was terrified! My skills have developed somewhat since then!
Natural, Relaxed, Artistic, Captivating, Timeless
The fact that we get to work with our Wonderful Couples, and be part of their big day! We love a Wedding, and always feel so honoured to be there, capturing the action.
Take Care of Yourselves: Amidst the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, don't forget to prioritize self-care and quality time with your partner. Take breaks from wedding planning to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other's company. Schedule regular date nights or activities that aren't wedding-related to maintain a healthy balance and strengthen your bond leading up to the big day. Remember that your relationship is the foundation of your wedding, so nurturing it should be a priority throughout the planning process.
We recently shot a Groom / Groom Wedding at East Afton Farmhouse. The Guys asked for their rings to be passed around during the ceremony, and asked everyone to bless them with their wishes
We want to get to know you, ideally over a coffee or when a face to face meeting is difficult, at least a video call.
We'll go over your Wedding plans, learn about what you need and how best to work together.
We will give you a free Wedding Planner spreadsheet just as a thank you for this initial meeting.
After this, we are happy to meet more and talk more to answer any questions, but if you're ready to book, well get your date locked in and get you added to our online booking portal system. Here we will send you a questionnaire, contract and invoice to look over. Your date is set, after a 50% deposit is taken and the contract is signed.
From here, if booked we will set up your pre-wedding shoot, to get you both comfortable with us, and in front of the camera - this is great to prep for your wedding day! You can use these images for your wedding invites!
We will set up a whatsapp group so we can all keep up with last minute plan changes, and of course for great communication.
Then the Wedding Day! Think of us as an extension of your Wedding Party - just some friends there taking some pictures! We will also go the extra mile to make your day go as smoothly as possible, draw upon our experience of many many weddings to help out where we can.
It's all over, the next day you will receive 4 or 5 'sneak peak' shots, quickly edited and ready to share on your socials! You full gallery will be ready in a few weeks, and will be hosted online where you can view and download all of your images, and share the link with family and friends so they can relive the fun!
Deliverables is always different from couple to couple, but our most popular option is a wooden photobox, personalised with your names and wedding date, to your chosen design. Inside, 50 8"x6" prints (your chosen favourites from the online gallery) will be resting on a bed of dried moss, and alongside will be a personalised wooden USB stick with all high resolution digital images loaded on, to cherish forever.
Give your photographer time around sunset, as the light is so beautiful. I'd recommend a classic silhouette with a sunset sky behind
One of our Couples decided to arrive at their wedding on pedal on go karts, so those images were certainly unique and fast action!
Embrace it! Wear a smile, and with a couple of clear umbrellas we can still work some magic!
We started off shooting people in nightclubs up and down the country in the mid 2000's, and this gives us PLENTY of experience in capturing the PARTY! This then slowly developed into the love of shooting weddings that we have today!
