Describe how you got into photography.
I was taking photos from a very young age using my dad's 35mm SLR, he coached me and I got the bug! I've also been running photography courses since 1998, helping others get the best from their photos.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas can be a lot of fun and create some amazing photographs.

I like to speak to the couple to find out exactly what they need, and to push unwanted extras.

Number one photo which everyone should take? I have several ideas but I think that family is extremely important. Nobody lasts forever but memories live on.

Some couples have a very clear idea of what they like, and I love it when the photos are accompanied by laughter which builds to make an incredibly memorable day.

How do you help couples who are camera-shy or feel awkward in front of the lens?
Simply put, I have a really relaxed manner with my photography, which helps to put you at ease.

How long after the wedding do we receive our photos?
Once your amazing day is captured, I back up the photos as soon as possible before doing anything else. Then I will begin work on them and the process usually takes around two weeks to complete. You'll receive your photos on a personalised USB stick in a beautiful and bespoke presentation box, you can then have fun with the photos by printing copies, making a photobook, or doing countless other things for your family and friends.
