Dave Spink Photography captures natural wedding photography and story-led wedding films for couples who want honest moments and a calm experience. Based in Pudsey, near Leeds, we cover West Yorkshire and beyond, creating a relaxed, seamless record of your day without it ever feeling like a photoshoot.
Wedding PhotographyOur approach is documentary at heart. We focus on real moments as they unfold, the nerves in the morning, the proud looks during the ceremony, the laughter during drinks, and the energy of the evening. For portraits, we give gentle guidance so you feel comfortable and confident, but we keep it quick and natural so you are not away from your guests for ages. If you are not used to being photographed, you are in the right place. Most couples tell us they felt at ease within minutes, and that is exactly how we want your day to feel.
You will receive beautifully edited images with natural colours, flattering light and strong storytelling, delivered in a way that is easy to share with friends and family.
Wedding FilmsIf you want to relive how your day sounded and felt, our wedding films are designed for that. We create cinematic films that are still true to your day, with clear audio from your ceremony and speeches so the words and reactions are preserved properly. The result is a film you will genuinely watch again, not just a montage of highlights.
Extras to elevate your guest experienceIf you want to add a fun, interactive element to your evening, we also offer popular extras that keep guests entertained and create brilliant memories:
We are big on making things simple. You will get clear package options, helpful guidance in the lead-up to your wedding, and a relaxed presence on the day. We work quietly, confidently, and with a friendly approach that helps you enjoy your wedding, not manage it.
If you are looking for natural images, real storytelling, and a team that keeps everything calm and enjoyable, we would love to hear about your plans.
We were lucky to have been asked to film a wedding in Florida. Completely different to the usual so definitely one that sticks in my mind
There have been so many incredible moments, but one that stands out is a wedding where the couple surprised their guests with a choreographed flash mob during the first dance. The joy and laughter in the room were unforgettable—and capturing those genuine reactions was magic!
Relaxed, natural, creative, fun, timeless.

The feedback from customers when the first see their film. It makes all the hard work worth it.
The trust couples place in me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. I’m also proud to offer a service that feels more like working with a friend than just a vendor—it’s all about making you feel comfortable and cared for.
Don’t sweat the small stuff! Focus on what really matters—celebrating your love and enjoying the day. The little things will fall into place, and honestly, the imperfect moments often make the best memories.
Don't sweat the small stuff. Let the little issues (if any) not affect the day.
One couple wrote letters to each guest, sharing a special memory or message with them. Watching people read those heartfelt notes brought out so much emotion, and it was beautiful to photograph those moments of connection.
Personalised polaroid name places (the more unflattering the better)
I like to start with a relaxed chat—whether it’s over coffee, a call, or even a quick email—to get to know you and your vision for the day. Once we’re booked, I’m here to help with planning tips, photo ideas, and anything else you need. On the day, I blend into the background, capturing moments as they happen naturally, with some gentle guidance for portraits if needed. After the wedding, I’ll deliver your memories in a way that lets you relive the day over and over.
We try to find out as much about you and your wedding so that we can make sure your film matches you and your plans.
The quiet moment just after the ceremony, when it’s just the two of you. That first moment of “Wow, we’re married!” is always so full of raw emotion.
A Star Wars flash mob invasion during a First dance
One couple asked me to capture them running through a field in the rain, laughing and completely soaked. It was spontaneous, messy, and absolutely perfect!
One of my team got married and we had the opportunity to film it for them. The tears and the smiles are worth more to me than the fame of a Hollywood blockbuster.
We have lots of favourite songs to accompany wedding films but the favourite ones are the ones that remind me of the weddings we've been too. We have the opportunity to film for some important people in our lives and when we hear those songs it reminds us of those days.
Embrace it! Rain adds a romantic, cozy vibe to the day, and some of the most stunning photos happen when couples grab an umbrella and step into the drizzle. Plus, your guests will love the chance to show off their dance moves indoors!
t all started with capturing friends’ weddings—I was the go-to guy with a camera. Before I knew it, word spread, and things evolved quickly into a business. Seeing the joy my photos brought to people made me realise this was what I was meant to do, and I haven’t looked back since!
By accident. We started as Photographers and we had a request to film a simple day. It all snowballed from there.
