Hi, I’m Dave, a wedding photographer based in Pudsey, near Leeds. After more than 18 years around weddings, I still love the nervous smiles, the big hugs and the moment everyone lets loose on the dancefloor. My job is to capture all of that while helping you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves.
If being photographed feels a bit awkward, you’re in good company. You don’t need to know how to pose. A short walk, lovely light and a little guidance are usually all we need for relaxed portraits, before getting you back to your favourite people. For the rest of the day, I’m watching for the real moments: proud parents, stolen glances, your friends’ mischief and the things you were too busy enjoying yourself to see.
Before the wedding, we’ll talk through your plans, the people who matter to you and the photographs you’d love. On the day, I’m a friendly, calm presence. If timings shift or you need a breather, I’ll help you find your feet and keep things moving naturally.
Photography and film
Photography is £1,500, with me as your photographer, 500+ individually edited photographs, full-resolution downloads and a private online gallery. We’ll agree coverage timings around your wedding.
Our films bring back the voices, movement and atmosphere: your vows, the speeches and the laughter in between. Film is £1,250, with a dedicated videographer for up to 10 hours, a Feature Film typically around 20 minutes, your full ceremony and speeches, and a cinematic Director’s Cut usually 6–8 minutes.
For £2,000, you can have photography and film together: me photographing your day alongside a dedicated videographer, with up to 10 hours of film coverage. You’ll receive your photography collection and gallery, plus your Feature Film, full ceremony and speeches. The Director’s Cut is an optional £250 addition to this package. Albums and a second photographer are also available.
I photograph weddings across Yorkshire and travel further afield too. Whether you’re planning a big celebration or something smaller, I’d love to hear about it. Send me your date, venue and a little about yourselves—you don’t need to have every detail worked out.

We were lucky to have been asked to film a wedding in Florida. Completely different to the usual so definitely one that sticks in my mind

There have been so many incredible moments, but one that stands out is a wedding where the couple surprised their guests with a choreographed flash mob during the first dance. The joy and laughter in the room were unforgettable—and capturing those genuine reactions was magic!

The feedback from customers when the first see their film. It makes all the hard work worth it.

The trust couples place in me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. I’m also proud to offer a service that feels more like working with a friend than just a vendor—it’s all about making you feel comfortable and cared for.

Don’t sweat the small stuff! Focus on what really matters—celebrating your love and enjoying the day. The little things will fall into place, and honestly, the imperfect moments often make the best memories.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One couple wrote letters to each guest, sharing a special memory or message with them. Watching people read those heartfelt notes brought out so much emotion, and it was beautiful to photograph those moments of connection.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to start with a relaxed chat—whether it’s over coffee, a call, or even a quick email—to get to know you and your vision for the day. Once we’re booked, I’m here to help with planning tips, photo ideas, and anything else you need. On the day, I blend into the background, capturing moments as they happen naturally, with some gentle guidance for portraits if needed. After the wedding, I’ll deliver your memories in a way that lets you relive the day over and over.

We try to find out as much about you and your wedding so that we can make sure your film matches you and your plans.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The quiet moment just after the ceremony, when it’s just the two of you. That first moment of “Wow, we’re married!” is always so full of raw emotion.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
A Star Wars flash mob invasion during a First dance
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One couple asked me to capture them running through a field in the rain, laughing and completely soaked. It was spontaneous, messy, and absolutely perfect!
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
One of my team got married and we had the opportunity to film it for them. The tears and the smiles are worth more to me than the fame of a Hollywood blockbuster.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
We have lots of favourite songs to accompany wedding films but the favourite ones are the ones that remind me of the weddings we've been too. We have the opportunity to film for some important people in our lives and when we hear those songs it reminds us of those days.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it! Rain adds a romantic, cozy vibe to the day, and some of the most stunning photos happen when couples grab an umbrella and step into the drizzle. Plus, your guests will love the chance to show off their dance moves indoors!
Describe how you got into photography.
t all started with capturing friends’ weddings—I was the go-to guy with a camera. Before I knew it, word spread, and things evolved quickly into a business. Seeing the joy my photos brought to people made me realise this was what I was meant to do, and I haven’t looked back since!
Describe how you got into videography.
By accident. We started as Photographers and we had a request to film a simple day. It all snowballed from there.
