There is not one particular memorable wedding as I take memories from each & every one. This could be really fun moments such as the Bride & Groom entering the reception on a golf-cart, the father of the groom proposing to his partner on the dance-floor or the real emotions of the speeches & remembering loved ones that are not there in person to share the day. All of which have happened on weddings I have photographed.

The fact that I get to photograph & tell a story of my couples day & do this for a living. Also, I get to meet some great people along the way.
Always take the time to enjoy the day. Have a plan and running of the day but always be prepared that something may not go as planned, then go with the flow! Also, factor in some time for your couple portraits. This will give you images that you will cherish & also give you both a little time alone from the Reception.
I always enjoy photographing all the little details at Weddings that couples, families & friends all put the time & effort into making, planning etc I have seen some beautiful planned themes & one that stand's out would be an 'Alice In Wonderland' themed Wedding I photographed. The venues ground's had been transformed into the 'Mad Hatters Tea Party' with signs directing guests through the grounds. The couple had set up Frames hanging off the trees in the grounds for guest to use as Photo Booths near the end of the trail which made for some great candid images.
My process is very much a natural one. I want the images to represent my couple & not ask them to pose in a position that doesn't show their personality or makes them look awkward. Most of the time I will let the images I make flow & only offer some posing guidelines when necessary. My couple photography sessions are very much a collaboration.
There is no real number one image that every couple should take as this maybe different for each couple. The only real advice I give is make sure you plan & set aside the time for your images as after the Wedding, the photographs will be the only memento's of the day.
As I have said earlier, I have been asked to take an image of the Groom's Father proposing to the Groom's Mother on the dance-floor. The Groom's Father let me know a couple of minutes beforehand & I think that it was only him & me that knew about what was to happen!
Rainy day Weddings can produce some awesome images. That may be the Bridesmaid's running into the church to get out of the rain or children playing in the rain with their suits & dresses on! It also makes for some dramatic portraits & I always take umbrella's with me to shelter you with as we make your images. Plus it rained on my Wedding day and a lot of these photographs are my favourites!
I studied photography at University & have always worked as a photographer more or less since then.
