My own! Which is why I know how important the photos are. I love looking back at ours and reliving our perfect day. I would like to provide you with the same memories.
Warm, friendly, humorous, creative, assertive
That my clients truly enjoy and appreciate the images I create for them and the overall experience. I create something personal that will last forever!
Have fun planning, and don't be afraid to ask questions. It's your day so know what you're booking. But remember, try to relax on the day, soak it all in and go with the flow of the no matter what. As long as you both say 'I do' everything else is background noise. It goes so fast! Oh, and wear comfy shoes lads. (No point saying that to the ladies, they'll buy what looks good - put some plasters in your pocket!)
I always love table names and a theme that's personal to the couple. Something to do with how they met or a mutual interest or hobby.
Meet to discuss the days timings 4-6weeks before. If we've met already for an engagement/pre-wedding shoot this can be via Skype or similar if work and time doesn't allow. On the day I arrive a few hours before the ceremony to take bridal prep shots and a few shots of flowers and other details. I then cover the rest of the day with a mix of candid documentary style shots and a few limited posed shots. A photowalk with the happy couple after the ceremony and again just before sunset weather permitting. Speeches, cake cutting and first dance covered, a some of the reception. Photos then edited and ready within 4-8 weeks.
One of my uniques smoke or steel wool photography effect shots (weather and venue permitting)
Either one where the Bride has some with her dog up in the room, a snowball fight in full wedding attire, or the castle in Scotland where they made use of some medevil castle props and features
Lots of laughs and kissing, umbrellas, spare pants (oh they're for me!!🤣) and a good sense of humour. It is what it is. If you're game you can have lots of fun and create some unique arty pieces of art. If not, always ask the venue how they cater for photos in a rainy scenario just to be safe. See my award winning Masters of Wedding Photography Image of the couple in the rain under the umbrella! Every weather type can be magical!
I brought a camera because I was interested in taking photos generally. I went to a friend's wedding, took photos as a guest, and they ended displays my photos in their house and non of their official photographers. They recommend me to friends of theirs when they got married, and repeat! The rest is history.
