What is your most memorable wedding?
My first one - over 5 years ago - the nerves and panic and excitement to make sure I captured everything - now, I still get the excitement as every wedding is different - but much more confident in how I go about peoples wedding days

What about your business are you most proud of?
How people say I make them feel before, on and after their day - this is why I work well with slightly nervous couples to put them at ease and relax in front of the camera
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
do what YOU want to do - regardless of who is paying for what, not what a blog says or a friend or family - if there is something you want to do - then do it - it is YOUR DAY!!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One bride to be had flown on her hubby to be's ex-army friends to be at the wedding and he had no idea - the emotion and planning that took was incredible and it really was a very touching moment
Describe your typical process with a couple.
every couple is different - getting to know what makes them tick and laugh and what the enjoy is something great to find out to start helping them relax and enjoy the experience
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
An engagement one for a signing frame - my wife and I did this 10 years ago and a lot of the people that wrote lovely messages on are no longer with us and every time I see it (it is in our bedroom) it makes me smile and I stop to read some of the messages on it - I really encourage my couples to do this as it means so much still
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I have been asked a few times to get a photo of the couple with their dog that was being brought along especially for photos - once or twice for the image of a couple on motorbikes or something that was special to them - again, working with more nervous couples, sometimes they don't want anything too flashy but the option is always there!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and confidence - if you want to make the most of your day, we will do our best to keep you dry but photos in the rain can be awesome - otherwise, we find space indoors to create your portraits and hope it stops raining at some point!
Describe how you got into photography.
It was after a knee accident in 2013 - I missed a lot of time with my children whilst surgery and physio were going on - I realised the importance of taking photos to freeze a moment in time forever. I also love a wedding and understand the time and organisation that goes into one and find them so exciting that I soon realised this was exactly what I wanted to do!
