The worst Photographer I have EVER encountered!
I had the worst experience ever with Danarus Productions with regards to my wedding on 3/10/2020. Firstly, due to the uncertain situation with covid, I had to reschedule my original May wedding date. I gave Sani two possible new dates for the wedding nearly 2 months in advance and told him I would inform him of the exact dates when things became more certain. When I informed him of my decided wedding date 3 weeks before the wedding, he informed me that he had booked a travelling trip on that date and would not be able to make it. I requested for my £100 deposit back and was informed the deposit was non-refundable. I was ready to take this up and all of a sudden, the flight and trip was now cancelled and he could make my wedding. I had requested for 2 different people, 1 photographer and 1 videographer, however, the night before my wedding, he informed me they would no longer be able to make it and he would now be coming on his own to do both the photography and videography. The arranged time was 9am.
On my wedding day, I called him as he had not yet turned up and it was already 9am and he informed me that he would be 30mins late meaning he would miss the entire pictures and videos of me getting ready! Throughout the ceremony, Sani was constantly pushing for attention, even competing with the person filming for those attending via zoom, very narcissistic behaviour really. When I first arrived at the venue, we had to complete some documents before the wedding ceremony began and so I was unable to take photos until after that was done, which Sani was not very pleased about. After the documents were filled, I came back out to take some of the most important photos of the ceremony, full length pictures of just the bride. We took several of these and I had my husband and best lady as witnesses. However, these pictures never made it into the photos he released to us. When I queried him about this, he said I hadn’t taken the pictures when he wanted me to and that I should have listened to my photographer. He also denied ever taking those pictures saying he had sent us all the photos taken at the wedding.
Before the ceremony, he had mentioned releasing the photos and video could take up to 12 weeks after the wedding (3 months!) but that he would give us priority service. On the wedding day, we paid him his full balance totalling £650 as he said it was compulsory we did this on the day. He sent us some sample photos some days after and I noticed that the photos were pretty dark making my husband who is quite dark barely visible. I mentioned this concern to him and asked him to make the pictures as bright as possible for my husband’s sake. Not only did he not heed my request, but many, if not most of the photos were completely unedited. I and my husband were appalled by the quality of a lot of the photos, they were very dark with no editing at all. Furthermore, he provided no update regarding the progress of the production, throughout the entire waiting time which was over 12 weeks, even though he had promised us “priority” service. He ignored several of my messages and my calls aswell. He told us he would have the photos and video in a USB which he would sent to us, however, he put them in a file sharing website that only allowed 24hrs to download the files before they are deleted. For the video, the vows were not heard, as we were muted. He did not at any point discuss with us how we would like the final production to look like. When I asked for the raw unedited video of the service, he requested an additional £275 to release that.
All in all, this is by far the worst service we have ever received from any vendor and this man is an absolute amateur, full of lies and totally disorganised. Would give zero stars if possible. Do not waste your money on his service as you will be very very disappointed.
