At Dainty Wedding Photography, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Nate is passionate about capturing the true spirit of your wedding day. Inspired by his own wedding, he takes a relaxed, personal approach to documenting your celebration—creating images that reflect the love and joy you feel.
Nate specializes in a documentary, or 'reportage,' style of photography. This means he focuses on the natural flow of your day, highlighting genuine emotions and candid interactions. While important family portraits are included, his main goal is to capture those fleeting, unposed moments—like nervous glances, joyful tears, and heartfelt laughter. This style is perfect for couples who prefer authentic photos over staged poses.
Weddings can be overwhelming, but Nate brings calm and confidence to your day. Couples appreciate that he’s more than just a photographer—he’s a helpful presence who might assist with tying a Windsor knot or offer guidance on walking down the aisle. Along with his second photographer, Nate creates a relaxed atmosphere that helps everyone feel comfortable, resulting in beautiful, natural photos that capture your day’s true flow.
I shot a beach wedding in Gibraltar which was pretty special
documentary, reportage, unobtrusive, discrete natural
the moments I get an email from a happy couple saying I've captured their day exactly how they remember it.
do it your way!
One couple love their dog so much, they named all of their tables after his various nicknames!
I'm a pretty chilled out guy, I try to make my couples feel as relaxed as possible :)
I do love a confetti shot!
one bride and some heavily pregnant bridesmaids on a low trampoline!
umbrellas, wellies and prosecco!
I was booked in to photograph a music festival to get some images for some design work I had in a previous job. When I started getting some nice shots of performers, and got that buzz from capturing a moment in time, I realised that I loved photography, and wanted to do it for the rest of my life.
I never set out to be a wedding photographer, but when I got married in July 2013, I realised that weddings are magical days, and capturing that magic for other couples is exactly what I wanted to do!
