Bright, relaxed, natural, modern, fun
The final result and the joy from my couples when they get their photos. I also enjoy finishing your photos and leaving as friends.
Plan ahead and in plenty of time. Photographers are often one of the first suppliers to be booked and there are lots of styles and packages out there for you to choose from. For me it's the style you are buying into so you have to make sure you get it right, after all we're going to be with each other potentially all day!
We will first meet for a consultation to discuss your requirements and expectations for the day which is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, after all, I'm going to be stuck like glue with you all day! We will talk dates, times, venues, themes and any after wedding services such as albums etc as well as starting to get an idea of your specifics. To ensure you have a worry free day I have organisational tools such as a day planner and shot list so we can really plan your day to ensure no photos are missed and we fit in with other arrangements and timings.
We then arrange to meet approx 2 weeks before your wedding date for a pre-wedding meeting/engagement shoot normally at the venue(s) where we can finalise your plan and list of required shots. I will also take some photos of you both so that you can get used to the camera and posing, don’t worry I'm here to help and guide you! You will of course keep these images.
After your wedding I get to work editing all your images and when all the high quality print ready images are ready they will be loaded on to a personalised USB memory stick and presented in a luxury Genuine Leather Box.
Bride & Groom portrait alone in a favourite place
When the Bride and Groom were walking to the beach for some portraits, we walked though a small village square where there was a Morris dancing competition and they got enrolled into the performance! Impromptu and unexpected yet brilliant photos.
Umbrellas and an open mind for fun! The day is still your day and it will be captured as is.We will always have a plan B in case of this although I never say the r word!
Buying my first DSLR in June 2014 refreshed my enthusiasm for photography after a break of around 16 years! Back then it was all film with no real idea of what I had captured until receiving the prints in the post. I was lucky enough to have my own black and white darkroom in the attic of my parents house, which provided a good foundation for photographic skills, processing and developing. Now with modern day digital photography I don't have to worry about keeping my finger on the trigger and wasting a whole roll of film in the matter of seconds, or hooking out film ends from canisters, or the smallest amount of stray light ruining a film, or maintaining a strict 20 degrees Celsius in the darkroom! The darkroom is on my lap and the results are instant. Perfect!
