You guided us through absolutely everything we needed to know, and your time and experience were truly unmatched. We are incredibly grateful for our engagement photos with our pets, as well as the stunning shots from our pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding events. You are a five-star photographer and have become an important part of our big day. We will certainly be using your services again in the future and I highly recommend you to friends and family.

Allen sat down with us to go through the services he offered. After talking through exactly what we wanted, we chose the best package Allen offered. This included a pre-wedding photo shoot which we opted to have of the venue (our home) being prepared for the wedding reception. Allen kept in touch prior to the day itself and spent time visiting the Church and the reception venue to ensure he could plan the best shots for the day. Allen took a time-lapse video for us of the marquee going up which was great as we could share this with our guests via our wedding website prior to the big day. On the day, Allen came to the house to photograph the wedding preparation and was very unobtrusive. He took enough pictures to create memories but not so many as to be in the way of everyone getting ready. Allen was waiting when I arrived at the Church and was careful to position himself well without causing a fuss. He was calm and professional at all times. Allen stayed for most of the day and well into the evening. Being summer, the sun did not go down until quite late but Allen was there taking photos until the first dance, at which point he left us to our own devices. Before that, he offered to take pictures of anyone who wanted them as a family group or individuals and set up an outside photography area for people to visit him. Our photos came through from Allen as a link to a full set of pictures shortly after we came back from our honeymoon. We were able to share the full set with our guests electronically via our website so people could download any shots they wanted and print them for themselves to remember the day by. We also used the shots to create thank you cards which everyone loved. The photographs were wonderful. Allen included some fun shots and we had a lot of laughs with him whilst capturing our wonderful day in style. We highly recommend Allen - he was calm and professional throughout the entire day, as well as being creative and friendly. We were very happy with the photographs and have been spoiled for choice over which ones will make it into our album. Thank you Allen - we will be recommending you to others.

My wife and I got married on 11th March 2017. As everybody knows arranging a wedding is a stressful experience and while we were both excited you can’t help but get worried about your suppliers. Unless someone recommends someone you are basically in the hands of the gods or should I say luck! We searched the internet for a photographer and by chance came across Allen Blasdell. I have to say from the moment I met Allen I was Impressed. His warm nature and his pleasant approach put us both at ease. While he listened to what we wanted from his service he had ideas of his own. He shared with us some of his work which of course is in my view is the most important aspect of the selection process. His work was excellent. While the cost of Allen’s services was important it was in no way the most important part of the selection process. However, Allen’s price was very competitive and with this also in mind we hired Allen. Our day was wonderful from start to finish. All the hard work we had both put in fell into place on the day and Allen contributed to making our day special. Allen was with us throughout the day and was there until early evening. Allen left no stone unturned by assuring that our whole day was saved for prosperity. The picture are excellent which of course is crucial. Allen’s aftercare service was also important and this again was important. I would recommend Allen 100%.

We had a smallish budget which Allen fit into very well. He was very relaxed and patient and captured our big day with beautiful photos in a professional manner. Would definitely recommend!

Alan was an amazing photographer, providing the best experience. He was light hearted and creatives in his approach really engaging our guests and making everyone comfortable. Alan tailored our photos to our style and made things very candid and grungy. We appreciated the fantastic communication at every stage from Alan and couldn’t be happier with his work. For us getting married was something to record and cherish, Alan was integral and his eye provides us with breath taking shots to cherish for a life time.

I found Allen during an on-line search for a photographer and am so pleased that I did. From the word go he was lovely. A really charming and understated gentle man he put both of us at ease to the point where we almost forgot he was there. As a mature couple we were a little concerned about the camera being kind there was, no fuss, no pressure - consequently he took some beautiful pictures which we both look at and smile . I was disappointed about the weather - being typically English it rained and I couldn't put my beautiful dress down outside but it didn't affect the quality of the photos at all - just that most of them were indoor shots. We had a lovely surprise when they arrived. I would heartily recommend Allen. I tried to upload photo but the allowed size was too small.
