Planning your wedding in Sheffield or South Yorkshire? Colin Perkins Photography brings a fresh, creative, and documentary style to capturing your special day. Since 2015, Colin has been passionate about photographing not just the big moments—like your vows and speeches—but also those small, candid interactions that truly tell the story of your celebration. His goal is to capture your wedding as it naturally unfolds, preserving every laugh, tear, and joyful smile.
Colin’s style is best described as creative documentary and reportage. He works in a friendly, discreet, and unobtrusive way, focusing on authentic moments rather than posed shots. Whether it’s the father of the bride’s quiet tear or a guest’s spontaneous dance move, Colin’s calm and relaxed presence helps you feel comfortable, resulting in beautiful, natural photos that reflect the real emotions of your day.
As a full-time professional wedding photographer, Colin has captured over 30 weddings, gaining valuable experience with every celebration. His work has been featured on respected wedding blogs like Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and Rock and Roll Bride. He’s also an award-winning photographer, honored with a This Is Reportage award and multiple shortlist nominations in the Photographers Keeping It Real awards. Plus, Colin is listed as an official vendor for Brides Keeping It Real, a trusted resource for couples seeking genuine wedding photography.
