Honest, genuine, individual, alternative, fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We love the way we connect with our couples and that we're able to capture great memories for them.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Write a list of things you feel are most important for your day and organise/ purchase in that order. That way you don't blow your budget on balloons before you discover that band/ dress/ flowers you really wanted :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Marmaduke the boxer dog as one of the groomsmen, but wearing a tux, while the groom work jeans and tweed jacket.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We don't have a process, we simply embrace the chaos. We're not here to manage your day and tell you what to do. We just hang out with you and your guests and get some great photos of you all having a ball.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A selfie. With us. Seriously, it'll be the worst photo from your wedding day.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Enjoy yourself, you can't control the weather.
Describe how you got into photography.
We both went to art school, Alex studied graphics and digital media and Jenni has an MA in Fine Art. We've always enjoyed photography and have been lucky enough to make a career out of it. We particularly like photographing weddings because we love the unpredictability, the emotion and spending time with people on the best day of their lives. It's awesome and a great privilege! Our toddler has also got the photography bug, we've just got to convince him that he's in fact holding the camera the wrong way around about 80% of the time.
