Modern, vibrant, natural, colourful, personal
What my couples say afterwards
Don't pic too many group shots. 12 is plenty. Focus on capturing more natural moments.
Personal woes are always a favourite
After the initial enquiry I'm happy to meet couples maybe in a coffee shop maybe (I have 3 kids. Coffee is always good), or in their home to have a chat about their wedding plans and show them some sample wedding albums. Some couples go ahead and book without meeting which is totally fine too :)
When a couple say they'd love to book I send out a wedding questionnaire online along with a tab to make the deposit payment.
Every wedding should be unique. The pictures should reflect the couple and the venue. Therefore I have no set agenda to get a specific picture at every wedding.
Even at the same wedding venue, each photo is unique. Unique to the couple and unique to the day.
Be open to going outside. Some of my most liked wedding pictures are in the rain.
My wife (then girlfriend) bought me a camera one Christmas. It changed my life. I've been lucky enough to photograph over 350 weddings and travel the World with my photography. Being a photographer has also meant I can spend more time with my children. Which is priceless.
