A brilliant group dance from the bride and groom with their friends.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
1.Talk through photographs required at an agreeably arrange meeting, usually at the client's home; here if preferred; or place of their choice. Show a range of options without confusing people.
2. Pre- visit venues a week before event.
3. Work with the couple on the day calmly, smile a lot and not be too intrusive!
4. Be alert all the time to photo opportunities - be flexible with times as they nearly always change on the day.
5. Provide online photos for everyone usually within two weeks.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A really emotional/ happy one of the couple.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One was a couple on a bouncy castle and the other was a couple who wanted a snow machine.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A large umbrella!
I always check alternative locations in case of bad weather. Have always found a good alternative somewhere at the wedding.
Describe how you got into photography.
Been a keen photographer all my life. I am a great observer of people and set up my business professionally five years ago after taking early retirement as a primary headteacher.
