Cassandra Lane Photography

We found Cassandra whilst looking through various photographer pages, and we went with her because we loved how vivid and colourful her photos are. We are blown away with how beautiful our wedding photos are, they are exactly what we wanted. We love how there are not only great pictures of us, but fantastic pictures of our guests as well. Cassandra is so friendly, and approachable. We're both self-conscious and a bit awkward in front of a camera, and she did a great job of helping us laugh through those nerves both at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. She is very organised and reliable and was quick to respond when we had any questions. We went for the option for a second photographer as we wanted photos of both of us getting ready, and we are so glad we did. The second photographer she had for our day was Neil Parry, who was also brilliant.

Cass was our wedding photographer in June 2019 and I highly recommend her (and her shooting partner Imogen!). The whole booking process was really simple and easy, and Cass was there every step of the way to answer our questions and talk us through the day so we knew exactly what to expect and were completely at ease on the day. Neither of us are used to having our photos taken professionally, but we love the photos of ourselves, they were very natural and happy and some of my favourite photos are ones where we didn’t even realise there was a photo being taken, they just capture us laughing and enjoying the day! Cass went above and beyond just being a photographer too, from being the only one who could figure out how to fasten my dress, to putting on my lipstick when I didn’t have a mirror!! The photos of our guests and the venue really capture the spirit of the day and every time we look back on them the amazing memories come flooding back. Thank you so much. Jane and David x

Cass is absolutely awesome! Her photos are perfectly natural and really capture how happy we both were on the day. Cass is fabulous! She's so friendly and so many of our wedding guests commented on how great she was and mixed with our friends and family. She is relaxed yet professional which made us feel relaxed having our photos taken. Cass was so informative during the planning stages and was open to suggestions we had for our photos. She embraced the venue and surroundings to take a variety of photos and I can't wait to see them all after seeing some preview shots!

As soon as we met Cass we felt totally at ease, she was just the right balance of friendly & professional. She's someone who knows what they're doing & asks great questions to help you figure out locations & shots. She came up with a schedule for the whole day but when it came to the day itself she was amazingly flexible & patient with us when we got caught up in conversations or things ran over. She was never intrusive but managed to gather people for shots efficiently. A delightful guest too.

I cannot recommend Cass enough to anyone looking for a photographer, she was fantastic! She really listened to what we wanted and talked us through every step of the day beforehand. On the day she fit right in with the guests and made everyone feel so at ease. The photographs are brilliant and capture the theme of our day perfectly!! Even the way the memory stick was Sent (in a beautiful gift box) was just perfect!!

We loved working with Cass from our first meeting, our engagement photos which really put Mark at ease on the day and then of course the day itself. She was organised, communicative, friendly and looking back on the photos is a joy. Cass got some gorgeous photos on the day when I didn't even know she was around. The portraits are beautiful but seemed to be over really quickly and she was very understanding about the limitations of a 7 month pregnant with twins bride.

Cass was simply the cherry on top for what was a truly magical day. The moment Cass arrived she brought a calm, friendly yet extremely professional manner. Cass not only was lovely, she clearly took her role very seriously and came well prepared. Everyone commented on her presence, which was the right amount without being intrusive. When the photos arrived, we just couldn't fault them. Cass offered such a variety and that is exactly what we asked for. We are just so happy with the photos.

Cass was absolutely amazing and we couldn't have been happier with our photographs. She felt like one of our guests and we loved the way she didn't take us away all day to do photographs but still produced beautiful photos which we will cherish forever! Cass captured moments from the day so beautifully so that every time we look at them it feels like we're reliving it. Particularly love the photos of things we didn't even notice on the day.

Cassandra Lane made the experience of booking a photographer a very easy and fun one. Communication has always been easy and prompt. Meeting Cass to discuss what we wanted was such a good idea, as I feel she took everything on board and made our wedding day photography so FUN, when we had both been nervous about it! Our images are incredible, and so many people have commented on how amazing they are.. and also how well Cass fitted into the wedding day, many thought she was a family friend!
