Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Emotional, Joyous, Jaw-dropping, Captivating, Glowing
What about your business are you most proud of?
Above it all, running the business is not just about taking pretty pictures - it’s the service and the experience you give the customer that will make them remember you. I pride myself on my customer service first before anything.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Honestly, if it’s me or another photographer, book the best photographer you can... for me it’s about finding the Photographer that suits you as a couple best, not your budget or their fancy website... it’s how you engage with them as a people. After all, we're going to be with you for most of what will be the best day of your life. You don’t want someone who's going to grate on you!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Personally, it’s the little gift I give you at the end of the day when you think all the surprises are finished... a little something special for the Captured by Chris Couples
Describe your typical process with a couple.
To keep it short... I am more than just the guy behind your camera. I’ll help define you timeline, we will normally meet or talk 2-3 times before the wedding and even have a tour of the venue if you want to. Then there’s a contract process to cover both you and I, I will confirm your group shots before the day so nothing is missed and then if there is any issue arising just let me know... the plan is not set it’s a guideline of the day... My duty above being your photographer, is to minimise the stress on you as a couple... so if that means acting as a brides maid to fluff your dress, or a grooms man to make sure your shirts tucked in... it’s all to make sure you love your photos.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
This is by far my favourite... and it’s the sunset walk - walking away from me towards your happy ever after.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Someone once asked me to take a picture from under the brides dress framing the groom - or maybe it was the couple who wanted to pose with a mailbox... there are always weird and wonderful moments... and that’s what makes it so special... its unique to YOU!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I have two MASSIVE white umbrellas so if you're brave enough, I’ll ask you to stand in it at night and I will get the best picture ever!!!

Describe how you got into photography.
I always had a love as a child in capturing moments, even looking back at family pictures... and when I grew up I always wanted the best camera phone to have the one device to do it all... but then in lockdown I started to learn more about technical photography with a proper camera, I’ve studied and studied and watched every tutorial possible until I got the confidence to just get out there and start doing it as a job!
