Camera Hannah

We would recommend Hannah in a heartbeat! From seeing a friend's wedding photos 4 years ago, I always thought that I would love Hannah to be our wedding photographer and she totally lived up to the expectation and more! Hannah is a total professional, her work is excellent, she is down to earth, calm(!) and kind, all of which have been complimented by so many of our wedding guests. Hannah is also totally engaged with her work, and that passion is so evident in all she does -- she wants the best for you as a couple, and being on the receiving end of that is such a privilege, you know you're in good hands. Hannah's work is beautiful, and our wedding photos and video will be treasured forever. We love Hannah's style and so appreciate that the joy of our wedding day was captured without anything feeling forced or set up. Thank you so much Hannah, you're awesome.

From the moment I contacted Hannah about her photography, she was a joy to work with. Having somebody new with you throughout your wedding day could be very awkward and intrusive, but Hannah was able to put us at ease very quickly. She fit right into the wedding, to the point where several guests thought that I had asked a friend to be my photographer for the day. The photographs capture the laughter and silliness that the day was full of. Hannah finds little moments to document that might otherwise have been missed or forgotten. She is excellent at finding the right light and surroundings, and I think it's this, along with all of the emotion in every image, that makes her photographs special. We felt like we were able to make suggestions about where might be nice to be photographed, and it never felt like we were putting her out, she was excellent throughout.

Our day has been captured so beautifully. The photos are so magical and full of life. We are having a hard job picking the best ones to get printed as there are just so many! Our video is wonderful, we are so happy we have that as well. The editing is brilliant, we have watched it SO many times! There are plenty of photographers and videographers out there but your style offers something a bit more than most I've seen. You have a real skill for taking photos that capture a moment and also an eye for seeing backdrops and frames. We are so grateful to have them.

Hannah is a rare photography gem because she embodies three key traits: arranging beautiful compositions, having an eye for subject and context interaction, and capturing people's expressions. We really noticed how skilled she is in our very small setting at balancing actively directing people with staying in the background and just letting things happen. The icing on the cake is that Hannah is a fun and friendly person who you would like to add to your guest list.

Hannah was not someone on the periphery, simply recording our day, she was a part of our day, even carrying tissues for the bride! Everyone thought she was a friend of ours and it was really lovely to have that sense of it just being our guests there and not someone we had hired. We never felt like we were on show, or getting tired cheeks from smiling and posing for photos. She was a pleasure to have around and actually a big help. Most of all, the photos are amazing and capture moments that tell the story of our day, the ducks, the water, the tears the joy the hugs and some beautiful little details.

It was very much relaxed, no awkward posing and cringeworthy moments. She felt very much like a guest at our intimate wedding and would recommend her anytime. The video is also exactly what we wanted and captured the day so well. Memories is the only thing you keep once the day is over so this is so worth it, I can’t wait to look at our pictures & videos in the years to come!

Hannah was nothing but absolutely brilliant from the first time we got in touch and that's not just because we both have a serious obsession with Japan. I had so many people say to me after the wedding 'Your photographer was so nice! I also didn't notice she was taking the photos and then I'd see her out the corner of my eye.' One of the best moments has to have been in the Ceilidh dance when everyone would hold hands in a huge circle and then run into the middle, without even knowing how or when, Hannah had positioned herself right there to capture the energetic shots. Those are really amazing to see and I'm so glad she captured the fun and atmosphere in these images. Then she even stayed until well into the night to make sure she had all of the key shots which is not something a lot of Photographers would do.

Thank you SO much for everything. You helped out so much on the day, right down to helping us set up when we first got there, to making sure I took my one tiny window of opportunity to get ice cream! You were such a calm and fun presence all day and it never felt obtrusive, and I'm not someone who loves having my photo taken. Your photos have really captured what a fun and joyful day it was and the colours and everything are just gorgeous. I will never get tired of looking through them and you did amazingly to capture everyone as well, I'm not sure you missed anyone which is impressive given how many guests we had. Even getting dancing shots you were just a great part of the party and nobody ever felt self-conscious around you because you just put everyone at ease. I wish we could get married again so that we could do the day all over and I could have you take photos again!!

We are so glad that Hannah was able to photograph our day, she was an absolute JOY to work with. From the moment she turned up while we were getting ready, it was like having an old friend with you offering helpful advice and making you smile throughout the day. The way Hannah seemed to be in exactly the right place throughout the day was amazing, she is like a ninja! Our photos and video are incredible and we will cherish them forever. They truly capture the joy of our day, thanks to Hannah’s amazing talent!
