Based in the heart of Haywards Heath, West Sussex, Calibre Photography specializes in blending documentary, modern, and artistic styles to tell the true story of your wedding day. With over a decade of professional experience, I’m Paul, your dedicated photographer, focused on capturing genuine, spontaneous moments and emotions with minimal staging. Every wedding and civil partnership is unique, and I’m committed to understanding your personal vision to create a beautiful, lasting narrative of your celebration.
To make sure we capture the photos that matter most to you and your family, I recommend a pre-wedding consultation. This is a great chance for us to connect, discuss your plans, and tailor the photography to your day’s flow.
Every wedding is different, so I offer a range of packages to fit your needs, including half-day and full-day coverage options. After your wedding, you’ll receive a collection of natural, reportage-style images accessible through a secure online gallery—perfect for sharing with family and friends.
For couples looking to add a unique touch, I’m also a qualified and CAA-certified aerial photographer. This means I can capture stunning aerial photos and videos of your venue and guests, giving you breathtaking perspectives of your special day.
I’m also available for destination weddings, bringing the same expert style and understanding to your celebration abroad. My goal is to provide you with a timeless collection of photographs that you’ll treasure forever.

Reportage
The great images I capture when my clients are unaware of the image being taken.
The photographer does an extreamly lot of work behind the scenes once your wedding day is finished and the photos they will provide will be something taken once and last forever. Dont leave it until the last minute to book your photographer and ensure your budget meets your expectations of what service and quality of photos you will get.
Me sewing a button on a wedding dress that came off :-)
I always recommend a consultation several months prior to the wedding so that I can find out about my clients requirements and for them to get to know me. On the day, depending on your requirements, i would meet with the bride to capture her getting hair done etc. before visiting the groom. Its then off to the wedding venue to wait for the bride to arrive.
After the ceremony, private moment to reflect on their day
This depends on the venue. A pair of wellies and an umbrella! Always makes for a fun and somewhat interesting photoshoot.
I started taking pictures with my first camera at the grand old age of 10 and later in life decided to study at Guildford College of Art & design. The rest is history......
