After having photographed dozens of weddings over the years, I'm incredibly pleased to say that every couple I have delivered photos to have been over the moon with the work they have received and (touch wood!) I've never had a single complaint!
This one's for the bridal party generally, but a small stash of cotton buds concealed in a bra works wonders to absorb those tears before they run down and ruin a face of make-up!
The wedding favours at a recent wedding were scratch cards for every guest! What a wonderful idea! Just imagine if someone had won the jackpot, that would have been an incredible moment to remember on your wedding day!
First port of call is to organise a video call or meeting at a pub or cafe so we can put faces to names and begin to get to know one another! For me, it's really important that you guys feel at ease with me around so having a meeting or two before the wedding day means I'm not a stranger on the big day and you'll be so much more at ease when I'm running around with the camera!
We will then discuss what exactly it is you're looking for from your wedding photography, for example if you want all your photos in black and white or maybe you hate black and white! This way I can make sure that I understand your preferences fully to ensure you're happy with the photos on delivery.
Setting time aside to get a handful of portaits of just the two of you is a must in my opinion. Taking even just 15 minutes to grab a few photos gives you both chance to have a bit of a breather and digest the day, enjoying each other's company and getting some lovely relaxed photos in the process
During a first-look reveal, the groom was unaware that his best-man had secretly changed into a wedding dress, so the reveal photos were absolutely hilarious!
This one's down to the couple, but rain on a wedding day can make for some amazing photos! I'll always come prepared with waterproofing for my camera gear, so if you're brave enough or have an umbrella, we can venture out and get some super fun and creative shots!
