Boy Called Ben Photography

If you don't mind waiting over 8 months to still be chasing him for actual prints of the photos, this is the guy for you. The wedding was October 2017 and we started asking about when we'd receive photos in November. It's now May 2018 and we still don't have them. We've been lied to several times on when we would get them and ben even said that he'd sent them to us once but they never arrived. Before sending us any link to view photos online he felt it was OK to first send a couple of photos to the bridesmaid he hooked up while still "working". So the first time we saw any offical photos of our wedding was on the bridesmaids Facebook.

From our pre wedding photo shoot to our whole wedding day, Ben captured us perfectly. Ben made us feel comfortable, made us laugh, capture who we are. Everyone at our wedding commented on how hard working he was and how long he stayed for. He was everywhere and captured every single moment. We absolutely love our photos and will cherish them forever and that is all down to Ben's vision and hard work. We could not have picked a better photographer and he made our day the best it could be. AMAZING

The magic of Montaione lives on thanks to Ben's beautiful work. He captured so much joy and emotion in his photos, and each one is so beautifully composed. The images around the ceremony and the speeches are particularly touching. And the dancing shots are great fun - there's almost a touch of Juergen Teller to some of those! Love the grade throughout too - feels really timeless and very filmic. All in all these are images we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Ben was great, he spoke to us at length before the day and was always enthusiastic about our plans. He captured the day exactly how we wanted and got lots of pics of all our friends and family.

Ben is an exceptionally talented photographer. He has a real skill in capturing beautiful moments inconspicuously. He's a pleasure to work with - from first meeting to wedding day to receiving the final set of photographs. His relaxed and easy going nature puts everyone at ease. He goes the extra mile, staying late into the evening to capture moments on the dancefloor when he could have slipped off quietly. Each photo he takes is like a piece of art that tells a wonderful story.

We were drawn to Boy Called Ben due to the natural style of his photography and the soft colours that can be seen in his work. We weren't disappointed. It also gave us great confidence in that he was as excited to photograph at our wedding locations as we were to have chosen them. One final comment being that we received several compliments from guests stating that he fitted in perfectly and in many instances he went unnoticed (but still manage to get such amazing photos!)

Ben was a delight to have around on the day. He has a truly unique style. Our pictures don't look like wedding pictures, they're like pieces of art and everyone comments on how different they are. We have no typical posed wedding pictures and looking through them was like reliving the day - he captured all the bits we missed, and more.
