What is your most memorable wedding?
Whilst I've photographed many amazing weddings in many amazing places I believe every wedding is special - Its' the combination of your guests that are all together in one field or under one roof that make your wedding unique and memorable to you. I LOVE photographing that!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, friendly, unobtrusive, stylish, candid.
What about your business are you most proud of?
That people continuously recommend me!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It's one day, plan before, but let go on the day and go with the flow, things will happen naturally and you will enjoy it much more.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when couples individually add their own touches, be it table names (of where they've been together on dates or their favourite bands), to having surprise family guests (that they thought couldn't make it because they live the other side of the world) turn up and surprise them!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually make contact via Bridebook, then check out prices and my work on my website. Often people book there or then or if they are undecided, they can arrange to have a video call one evening. Once you've said yes, it's a straightforward booking form, deposit (£200) and contract to know you've got me as your wedding photographer!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Really tricky to say, but my main advice is to make time to step back from all the buzz together and have a moment together.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Oh lordy, my mind is a blank on this one. I have lots of random requests from photographing the bride and grooms with alpaca's to photograph a particular guest with another guest...
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrella's and welly's (plus may be a shawl to keep your shoulders warm), you can go any where with welly's!
Describe how you got into photography.
As soon as I picked up my dad's slr I was hooked!
