Bita Mills Photography Full Description
The one unique characteristic I have is that I aim to capture feelings not just photos. When you look at a photo and say 'awww' with a big smile on your face, that tells me I've done a good job! To achieve this I will get to know your likes and dislikes, your personality, what makes you happy and feel at ease, so this will allow me to capture the best photographs possible. Im flexible in my approach so whether its budget or you're after something bespoke, please just ask.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A wedding I photographed in March 2013 when it snowed heavily for 3 days in a row. I had to rescue my bride in my 4x4 as she had reserved a vintage car which wasnt going to go anywhere in that amount of snow! It turned out to be an amazingly fun wedding and we got some wonderful photos in the snow. We had to go to plan B and plan C though!!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fun, Quirky, Romantic, Artistic, Exciting

What about your business are you most proud of?

Im most proud of the fact that my clients become my friends and then recommend me to their friends!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Organisation, preparation and having a plan B!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Im always amazed at the amount of effort, thought and detail that my brides and grooms put into their wedding. This inspires me to take the best photos I possibly can so they can relive their special day every time they look at them.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to meet up to discuss what's important to you. To visit your venue and look at locations and possibilities. To chat through what your likes and dislikes are so you both feel happy and relaxed in front of my camera, as this will produce the most wonderful and candid photos.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The one photo would be the one which shows how happy you FEEL being surrounded by those special people in your life.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I was asked by the brother of the groom to be prepared and ready as he was going to be thrown in the pool by his friends! It was both exciting and nerve racking!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Lots of colourful umbrellas! If you dont mind getting a little wet, photos in the rain are actually a lot of fun and look amazing!

Describe how you got into photography.

I was encouraged by my art teacher to go the art college. I completed my National Diploma in Photography and Design back in the 80's before the days of the digital camera. Later I discovered photoshop which allowed me to combine my love of art and photography and I've not looked back since.
