Honestly we couldn’t recommend these enough! They have been perfect from start to finish in every aspect. They’re super nice people and really professional at the exact same time which made me and my husband relaxed around them. On top of everything their quality of work is second to none. Everyone who has seen the photos commented on how beautiful they are and that they’ve never seen photos as incredible as ours. Birches and Pine really captured the entire day better than we could of wished for. We put so much time and effort into every part of our wedding, and they managed to give us the same time and effort - not only to capture it but beautifully package the final product. Richard and James have been superb, from the first time we met at the Birmingham Wedding Show to now, 6 weeks after our wedding. They have been very professional in the way they run things, have been easy to contact and have kept us up to date with what's going on. They were so good at interacting with us (and our guests), and kept everyone at ease. The sample photos they have sent us so far have been wonderful. We can't wait to receive the final product! The whole experience with Rich & James was great from start to finish, they took time to understand us as a couple and what we wanted from the day. For two people that aren't keen on having their photo taken the pre-wedding shoot was a great way to get to know Rich & James so that we would feel at ease on the wedding day, plus it produced some great photos. On the day they were relaxed and interacted with all of our guests and were a pleasure to have around. Our pictures are amazing and they captured the day perfectly. Looking through the pictures has brought back so many memories. I have laughed and cried looking at them. There are so many wonderful pictures of both our guests and us it was proven difficult to narrow down to just 90 photos for our album. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Great guys! Did an amazing job photographing our wedding and our engagement shoot. Both James & Rich are so friendly and helpful. We contacted a number of photographers before our wedding and James & Rich were the only ones not just ask us for money, they wanted to meet us first and we met them for a drink in our local pub! They insisted on doing a FREE engagement shoot before the wedding so that we got to know them a little better. On the way they were brilliant fun! They even managed to jump in our photo booth and politely danced with the bride before she let them go home!! Would highly recommend them.

Everyone has their own idea about how their wedding should be and for us, Rich and James were the perfect choice. Their relaxed and informal approach really worked with our day. Well, what can we say? James and Rich were amazing throughout our wedding journey from the pre-shoot before our wedding to the day itself we really couldn’t have asked for anymore from them. They listened to us as a couple, what we wanted and then some. On the morning of our wedding they were on hand to help and support us and James even helped my Dad into the wedding car when he was struggling. Our day was magical and thanks to James and Rich we have all of the photographs to cherish forever! Our friends and family loved them and their relaxed attitude really made everyone feel at ease. Brilliant wedding photographers who go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and happy. From talking through the package options to the delivery of the photos everything went smoothly with no hassle. The photos that were taken captured the day exactly how we wanted. They went to the Brides hairdressers, Brides House and Grooms house before the Church so were really flexible on the morning of the wedding which helped us get the photos of the moments that we wanted. Rich and James are both easy going and helped to make us feel comfortable behind the camera (which wasn't easy!), they completed the group shots quickly and then blended into the background to take shots of the rest of the wedding. The USB package is presented in a bespoke wooden box, with one of your photos printed onto the front, which is a nice touch to finish off. Thanks both

Birches & Pine were wonderful and so much fun to work with! It can be so stressful to be in front of the camera, especially on such an important occasion but they really make you feel comfortable and relaxed so you can just enjoy the day and not worry about the photos. The entire process was very simple and straightforward as well, from their package options to organising a pre-wedding shoot, and the delivery of the photos. The Photos themselves were absolutely gorgeous, they really captured the day beautifully in a very relaxed and unstructured way so even 'posed' photos don't feel to stiff or stuffy in any way yet still have a timelessness about them. They really do go above and beyond to give you a wonderful experience. When the photos arrived we were really blown away by the presentation. I've had friends just receive a cv or usb drive labelled with a maker. Birches & Pine delivered the photos in a gorgeous wooden box with a photo printed on the top which contained a usb with all the photos and small physical prints of some of the best photos, which was a really lovely touch. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or anything really, they are so talented, versatile and kind!
