Truly, we are convinced he has unlocked some sort of secret life skill the rest of us weren’t taught. David didn’t just capture moments; he captured personalities, emotions, and all the candid bits that made our day uniquely ours.

We couldn’t be happier with the photography services provided by David on our wedding day. Not only is he talented, but he’s also reasonably priced. Leading up to the event, he was a great communicator, making sure everything was planned perfectly, and he kept the mood light and fun with his sense of humor. From our initial meeting, we loved David’s vibrant energy and engaging personality. He took the time to get to know us, asking thoughtful questions to understand our vision for the day. He clearly explained his approach and what we could expect, which gave us great confidence. We wanted a blend of formal group shots and natural in-the-moment captures, which David captured brilliantly. He was consistently professional, enthusiastic, and attentive throughout. The final photos are perfect!

From the first call, we knew that we had found our perfect photographer in David. He was warm and attentive, whilst remaining super professional and organised. David was the perfect addition to our day, with his funny and engaging nature, he put us and our guests at ease whilst making the typically formal photo taking part of the day a fun experience for everyone and capturing some wonderful moments. David has a way of being present when needed, but blending into the background too.

David was there to capture every moment. He is a fun, friendly, outgoing person who is great with crowds and capturing the vision and each and every moment. Lots of my friends & family complimented him and am sure were shouting his name non stop to get this picture and that picture. We cannot recommend David and Rory enough! The pictures and videos were so beautiful and cataloged the day perfectly. Both David and Rory were professional but human, allowing us and our guests to feeling comfortable, so much so we didn’t even recall many of the more natural pictures being taken because they were so discrete. David in particular has a wonderful sense of humour which fit well with our family and friends. We would recommend David and Rory to any prospective couples!

What can I say... other than absolutely amazing!! David captured our day perfectly. And to top it off he is a great fella! You only get one chance to pick the right wedding photographer and it can be a daunting task. I'm quite into photography myself so this made it all the more difficult. But having reviewed a number of portfolio shots from various wedding photographers I came across David at Big Day Weddings. We loved his style, but thought we'd have no chance booking him as he'd be snapped up or too expensive. We got lucky! From the initial introduction meeting we clicked. Great guy, knows his stuff!
