Beth Hodge at The Courtyard Studio

We first found Beth when we were planning our wedding. After going to her studio to meet her and view her work we decided straight away that we wanted her to take our photographs. She was welcoming and made us both feel very comfortable with her easy going laid back style and sense of humour. Beth really listened to what we wanted and even agreed to our crazy request of having a picture with our rabbit! During the wedding she captured the essence of the day exactly as we remember it.. And we got amazing pictures despite the fact that it was pouring rain and all our photos had to be indoors. The service we received was first class and our pictures were immaculately presented. Many people have commented on what a great photographer we had! and in fact quite a few friends have gone on to use Beth for other special occasions. Fast forward 7 years and Andrew and I were expecting our first baby!… of course there is so much excitement and you want to remember and document all the little things. We decided to have a maternity shoot and newborn shoot.. And there was no question about which photograpaher we would want to help capture the memories of such a special time!.. We contacted Beth straight away!.. I knew I could trust her to make me look every bit the glowing, blooming mother to be, even when I didnt feel that way!.. Haha! We were really happy with the outcome and I like to pretend I looked that good every day of my pregnancy. When Theo was born we took him for his newborn shots. Despite Theo being a total grump on the day we still got some lovely pictures thanks to Beth's patience and attention to detail. We ordered our thank you cards through Beth as well and these turned out great and so many people commented on the high quality! We have also gone back for christmas photoshoot and will be returning for Theo's 6 month photoshoot sometime around the end of February. I would highly recommend Beth Hodge for any occasion that you want to capture special memories. She has such a warm, friendly and welcoming personality that will put you at ease, she also listens to exactly what you want and has many ideas and suggestions when you dont know what you want.. And delivers perfectly every time. By using Beth you can guarantee you will not be disappointed with the quality or service you recieve and always at a very reasonable cost! Truly excellent!
