What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Allow plenty of time, especially for getting ready.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
White British groom marrying Indian bride. The bride walked down the aisle to find her Groom in full indian clothing. There was a tear or two shed.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
With the bride at preparations. If possible the groom, also. Then photograph the day throughout. I photograph unobtrusively, but also do any group shots requested and a bride and groom photoshoot.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Bride and Groom together with bride holding flowers, both looking at camera. Full length and close up. It's a classic that everyone will want in farme. After that we can get totally creative.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The bridal party group shot where the groom's first wife was bridesmaid to the bride he was marrying. And, I shot the first wedding!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Award winning photographs in the rain.
Describe how you got into photography.
Portraiture clients asking me to photograph their weddings. Eventually I did one, now here I am, 600+ weddings later.
