For couples who cherish every genuine moment and want their wedding day captured naturally, Baildon Wedding Photography is here to tell your unique love story. Based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, Sadie Ferriday has been passionately photographing weddings since 2011. She focuses on the real emotions—from those quiet pre-ceremony nerves to the joyful celebrations on the dance floor—ensuring your memories feel as alive as the day itself.
Sadie’s style combines documentary wedding photography with creative, modern portraiture. She avoids stiff poses and forced smiles, instead creating a relaxed environment where you can be yourselves. This approach captures the honest glances, happy tears, and laughter that make your wedding day truly yours. Her goal is to deliver photos that reflect how your day felt, giving you a timeless album to revisit for years to come.
Sadie calls herself a "romance junkie," and her passion shines through in every wedding she photographs. Couples consistently praise her work—one newlywed described the photos as "fantastic," while another appreciated how Sadie "knew how to get the best shots." Her dedication has made her a sought-after wedding photographer across Yorkshire and beyond.

I think it's really important to meet a couple and discuss what they want and what is important to them. Each wedding is so unique as are the people involved.
Sunset pictures, the light is amazing and they have usually had food, a drink and feel really relaxed.

I had dipped into photography whilst at school and college and worked at a photography agency as my first job after leaving education. The biggest step was whilst working as a freelance designer with a need for relevant imagery and a lack of budget, so I got stuck in. Did some training, read lots of books, photographed events, photographed families and children, eventually photographing my first wedding in 2011. I have since trained with several of the worlds leading wedding photographers and continue to further my skills and invest in equipment.
