I shot the owner of Debbie's wine estate sons wedding. His son was marrying a lady from Norway. It was a truly international wedding. I've never seen so much money spent on a wedding, The marquee had two levels ! It was like a royal wedding, but it still managed to be quite intimate. I must of done a good job because I also shot his brothers wedding the year after :)
Candid, documentary, spontaneous and photojournalistic.
The fact that I started on my own and a lot of my work comes from client recommendations.
Allow plenty of time on the day to enjoy it and relax ! Don't stress if things go a little wrong and enjoy the attention, even if you are shy. It's only one day....make the most of it !
I've seen many so that's a difficult question but overall weddings that make the guests feel part of it rather than just to make up the numbers.
I like to keep it as simple as possible, once the deposit is paid there are no instalments etc just pay the balance by the day.
That's very subjective, I guess the one that means the most to them !
My couples tend to let me get on with documenting the day as it happens without much intrusion from myself, that's how's I work best. I don't tend to get many request as such.
Don't worry !! Couples have control over nearly everything apart from the weather. So if it rains just relax and enjoy your day and let the photographer stress about where to take photos! Umbrellas can be useful though :) even if not for the photography.
My father is a famous photographer so I started before I left school.
