An elderly couple I photographed in February at a registry office wedding; they had no guests and so I had to bring a friend along and we were both witnesses. The groom brought their "wedding breakfast" along with him - some smoked salmon sandwiches, Jamaica ginger cake and a bar of chocolate. He bought 4 cut glass crystal glasses from Oxfam so we could join them eating and drinking champagne, standing by the car outside in February! We then went for a walk around the canal in Devizes so I could get some photographs of the 2 of them. It was so romantic and we had so much fun!
Relaxed, accommodating, unobtrusive, caring and keen.
Being able to provide photography services for all ages in our local area.
Get a good photographer!
A vet bride had her dog by her side during the vows in church.
We meet, if possible (if not, then Skype calls are good), to talk about the photography and the wedding planning, and what is expected from both sides. After confirmation of the booking I probably won't contact you until a couple of months before the wedding day, when we can book a date for a pre-wedding session. This is a really fun session where we have time to play around with the photography and talk more about the plans for the wedding day. I ask for a list of the group photographs wanted and a nominated person to help with the organising. Full payment is required a month before the wedding. After the wedding, if you are having a wedding album, then I am able to process the pictures and start designing a draft album to send you on your return from honeymoon.
A photography with the two of you showing the love between you. Interaction is so important.
I wasn't asked, but I took a picture of the bride on a zip wire!
Umbrellas! I have 4 of my own that I bring along. I love to go outside whatever the weather and look for places where the light is beautiful to take pictures. The rain never looks as bad in pictures as it feels on the day.
Since the age of 10 I wanted a camera. My father had a dark room and a good camera in the days of film and used to take great pictures of our family.
