My client orientated approach. I want my clients to be delighted with the service they receive.
Remember that it's your day, don't feel that you have to copy/outdo what your friends & relations did for their day.
Messages in bottles that the wedding party released into the Clyde.
it usually starts with a telephone call, then if we decide to take it further we will meet. This usually takes place at the venue they have chosen for their wedding. We talk about their plans and vision for their big day. This is the time where the couple decides if they'd like to hire me. If they do, we sign the contract and the deposit is paid within 48hrs of this meeting. Once the deposit is received I keep their day free and won't take another booking for that day. I am available to the couple for any questions from when the contract is signed to after handing over their photographs.
Waterproofs & umbrellas. We live in Scotland, where we get more than our fair share of rain. So I'm sure that your venue will have somewhere that you can use if it does get a bit wet out. You can get some great photographs in the rain, if you have an open mind and don't mind being a little bit wet.
I grew up with it. My dad worked for a German TV nation and I have been surrounded by cameras from when I was little. I went away from photography once I grew up, serving in the British Army before studying a variety of art based courses before coming full circle back to photography.
