Hi, I'm Andy, a reportage style wedding photographer providing my services across Cornwall and Devon with a huge passion for photography. I'm 41, married and love coastal life living in Newquay. I have many years of photography experience and over 120 weddings captured. I love capturing all the detail of a wedding day in a natural, discreet and fun manor capturing candid moments and also happy to offer direction where it is wanted to create some lovely moments for our to cherish. Experience
How long do we have to wait for our photos?
Typically I will send you some sneak peaks within a week or your wedding. You will then receive your full editing gallery within 2-6 weeks depending what time in the wedding season your wedding is held.
How will we receive our photos?
For all my wedding packages, I will send you all your photos via an online gallery where you can view all the photos, share with friends and family and you can also download your images from here. The gallery stays live for up to 2 years. For half and full day packages, I will also send you all your photos on a memory stick in a wooden presentation box for safe keeping.
When do we pay?
Once a you have chosen your photography package, I will then send you my contract and an invoice for a 20% deposit. I then require the full payment 14 days before the wedding date.
What happens in you are unwell?
A question I get asked a lot, in all 8 years and over 130 weddings I have captured, I have fortunately not had this issue. If this event did occur, I am very lucky to know lots of very talented photographers around Cornwall and so I would try my absolute best to find a replacement photographer for you.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, I often have offers running during the winter months. Typically, I can offer a slight reduction on costs for weddings November to March.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have public liablitly and indemnity insurance cover. You may find that some venues ask your suppliers to provide this information.
Do we need to feed you?
If you would like to, this would be amazing but I really appreciate that weddings are expensive and so I am happy to bring my own food. Usually for my short to half day packages I won't even have time for food. When capturing 8 hours and above, if you are happy to include me in a main meal, I would be so grateful. I'm not fussy and happy to eat anything.
How would you describe your style?
I love to capture and edit weddings in a natural, vibrant and crips manor to best showcase the colour themes that your choose for your big day.
Do you have experience with my venue?
I have had the privilege of capturing in many of Cornwalls finest wedding venues so please check with me as I may have some photos to share with you that relate to your venue. Where I have not captured at a venue before, I will always visit your venue before capturing your day so that I have lots of ideas and locations to capture the best photos.
Do you have backup equipment?
I always photograph with two of everything, lots of lenses, two flashes, two camera's which both have two memory cards for extra security of storing the images from the day. I then back up all my files in two locations and I even have software for when/ if the situation ever arose where camera cards were corrupted. This has never happened.
