Planning a wedding filled with genuine laughter and heartfelt moments? Andy Griffiths Photography offers a relaxed, natural approach to capturing your day exactly as it happens. Based in Merseyside, Andy is a multi-award-winning wedding photographer who believes your day should be about enjoying every second—not spending hours in staged photoshoots. His focus is on preserving the real, raw, and beautiful moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
Andy’s approach is simple: he blends seamlessly into your celebration, capturing authentic tears, laughter, and joy without interrupting the flow of your day. Think of him as a friend with a camera, quietly documenting your story while you stay fully present with your loved ones. Couples consistently praise how comfortable and at ease Andy makes everyone feel, ensuring your photos reflect the true spirit of your wedding.
To tell your wedding story in motion, Andy also offers videography services. Choose from a behind-the-scenes teaser delivered the next day, a beautiful highlight reel to share soon after, and even drone photography and video (where possible) to capture stunning aerial views of your venue. With experience capturing hundreds of weddings across the UK and beyond, Andy brings expert knowledge and a calming presence to every celebration.
Probably one in South Africa - stunning!
Going full time in 2017 and how I dealt with covid!
To ensure you know the type of day you want and then you pick the style of photography/ video you want to compliment it. For example if you don't want to miss loads of the wedding because the photographer wants to do loads of photos, do not pick that type of photographer. It can make a massive impact on your day.
Couples enquire and then I normally try to have a phone call to discuss their wedding plans and for them to make sure I am not a knob.
However, many book without a call which is great as well.
I don't think there is any specific one, photos should document the day as it happens and most weddings are always different in some way.
Embrace the rain!
I have always had an interest in photography, but having been to a few weddings and seeing how bad some were I thought i would love to tell people's weddings as they happen - in a style that enables couples to actually enjoy their day!
