Amy Photo Bug Photography Full Description
I’m Amy, and I’m a 25 year old photographer based in Somerset. I’ve always had a camera in my hand, even when I was little (even though it was a small digital and very different to the one I have now!). I was enticed by wedding photography when I realised that I could combine my love of weddings with my love of photography…and I also realised that I loved attending weddings and I’d like to attend as many as possible. I could give my couples a special gift that no one could, and that was lasting memories. I have 4 packages I do for weddings: Bronze (Party/Ceremony/Micro/Elopement) - Just the Party or Just the Ceremony coverage for 25-30 guests. - 200-300 tailored shots, including group pictures or group portraits. - Commemorative Memory Stick Keepsake. - Actual full printed album available for an added cost. - A congratulatory gift from me! Silver (Half Day) - 5-6 hours of photo coverage, starting and finishing whenever you like in the day. -400 tailored shots, including portrait and group photos depending on your chosen timings. -Commemorative Memory Stick Keepsake. -Actual full printed album available for an added cost. -A congratulatory gift from me! Gold (Full Day) -Includes a complimentary engagement session (100 shots, your choice of location). -Coverage from the bridal prep all the way up until 9:00pm (covering the first dance). -Meticulously edited photos on a commemorative memory stick keepsake. -400-500 shots, with 4 of your choice printed in A3 format for your wall (your choice between a canvas or print). -A congratulatory gift from me! Engagement Shoot Separate from the wedding package, a good test to see what my style is like. -100 meticulously edited shots for you to keep. -Location of your choice (or at my recommendation if you prefer!) -Commemorative memory stick keepsake.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Probably the first one I photographed, which was one of my best friends! She'd been with her now husband for years, and I shed a tear watching her walk down the aisle and towards the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. The pictures captured this, I still tear up now!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Creative, Traditional, Joyful, Genuine and Fun!

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of the rapport I am building with couples, and I am proud to present them with something they can cherish. I started this business because I wanted to give back, and do something that I really enjoyed.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Drink lots of coffee and taste lots of cake! I'm kidding, although that is still a good idea. I would say, take your time. View your venues, try on your dresses and go with your gut for what feels right.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I went to an Animals of Farthing Wood wedding a few years ago, the Bride's sister had hand-drawn all of the place cards from a book they enjoyed as kids. It was so creative and personal.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

From the initial enquiry, a zoom/skype call first to get to know each other. We go over your wedding, packages, contract. A week before the wedding I get back in touch to confirm details for the day, a schedule. Night before, quick email confirming time I'm arriving and good luck (I don't need a response to this, I know you're probably busy!). On the day, arrive on time and have a beautiful day. A week to edit the photos and voila! A personalised memory stick and gift arrives to you by hand.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A joke. I always ask the groom to tell the bride a joke to make her genuinely laugh. This photo is the one that every couple should have, it is pure genuine joy.

Describe how you got into photography.

I got into photography because I wanted to capture beautiful moments and be able to cherish them later. I enjoy the sound of the shutter, and the feeling of putting up your favourite photo on the wall that you can look at from time to time and remember.
