I’m a documentary style wedding photographer who also takes a great group shot and couple moment. I’m relaxed, friendly and approachable. I’ll slide into your day and help you capture your perfect memories.

£499 - £1,495
I start my pricing from £499 which is for a three hour booking, perfect for weddings at a registry office then a shoot and some fun afterwards. I then offer a six consecutive hours package for £999 or for two hours before the ceremony up until after the first dance it is £1495.

Amy Davies Photography LTD Full Description
My name is Amy and am based in Hove and cover weddings throughout Sussex, but can do further afield if needed. My style is very relaxed documentary photography meaning I capture your day as a complete story. If I seem like a good fit for you, take a look at my portfolio or carry on reading more below. I have my own studio in Hove where I work with many brands to create bespoke content for social media and e-commerce.
I love to shoot anyone and everyone no matter the race, gender or orientation. I am sensitive to peoples needs and happy to chat over coffee before any shoot is booked.
Photography is my passion. My role is to add the pictures into your storybook. I know that not everything can be a fairytale but if you can't be a princess or prince or even a frog for a day on your wedding then when can you?
I capture all the traditional shots that Nan's want for the mantlepiece but also the moments that make your day unique. I encourage the fun and the weird and try to put you at ease. I have a bright fun style that reflects my personality. I like to work with natural light as much as possible and promise not to force any heart hand signs unless you really want to do them. I will be there with a tissue when needed or remind you just to breathe and enjoy it. I'll be the sober fairy godmother you never knew you needed.

What is your most memorable wedding?
My own wedding was my most memorable but I love all weddings any size or type. I really love micro weddings as you feel like part of the family.

I have been a photographer for the past eight years and have built my business from nothing to a team of three with a studio
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be organised but go with the flow. Do what you want as a couple, not what everyone else wants you to do.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
First dances that aren’t just swaying!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We normally have an informal chat over a coffee or facetime to go through the day and what they are looking for. Then once everyone is happy I ask for a 25% deposit and send them a contract so everyone is covered. We normally meet once more before the actual wedding day. I ask for the full payment to be completed one month before the wedding date.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A moment alone of just the new couple.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas! It is also good to go to the venue first and make sure the weather won't ruin your plans. Make sure there is as nice as an indoor area as there is outside.
Describe how you got into photography.
I worked for a brand and fell in love with taking photos for them.
