What is your most memorable wedding?
One that really stands out was a wedding in the heart of Winchester, where the couple first met. It was small and intimate during the day, just 25 of their closest family and friends, followed by a bigger celebration in the evening. The day unfolded across a few different venues, each one offering beautiful backdrops, but what really stuck with me was how much love surrounded them. You could feel it in every glance, every speech, every hug. They were completely adored by their people. It was such a joy to capture.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of how often couples tell me they felt completely at ease, like I was just a friend with a camera. That trust means everything to me. It’s not just about taking beautiful photos; it’s about creating space for real connection, honest emotion, and memories that actually feel like you when you look back at them.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Let go of the idea that everything has to be perfect. The real magic is in the unexpected and the moments you didn’t plan for. Focus on how you want to feel on the day, not just how it looks. That’s what you’ll remember most, and what makes the best photos too.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favourites was a couple who included handwritten notes for each and every guest. Each one personal, heartfelt, and totally unexpected. It set the tone for the whole day: intimate, emotional, and full of love. Those small, meaningful touches always stay with me.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It all starts with a relaxed chat over email or video call, just to get to know each other and hear all about your plans. I stay in touch in the lead-up to your day, sharing tips and inspiration to help you feel prepared. Around six weeks before, you’ll complete a short questionnaire, and we’ll hop on another call to go over everything. I’ll then put together your photography plan so you know exactly what to expect. You’ll get a handful of previews within a few days, and your full gallery 4–6 weeks later. Simple, relaxed, and completely centred around you.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
One quiet moment, just the two of you. Away from the crowd, no pressure, no posing. Whether it’s a walk at golden hour or a pause between the speeches, that space to breathe and be together always leads to the most meaningful photos. It’s not about the pose, it’s about the feeling.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Don’t stress about the weather. Some of the most romantic photos happen in the rain. Bring a couple of clear umbrellas, trust your photographer, and embrace it. Whether it’s moody skies or dancing under drizzle, rain can add real magic (and beautiful light!) to your day. What matters most is how it felt, not whether the sun showed up.
Describe how you got into photography.
I first picked up my camera to capture the little moments with my children. The everyday magic that felt like it was slipping by too quickly. That love for honest, emotion-filled storytelling naturally led me to family photography. While working as an event manager at a wedding venue, I found myself drawn to the emotion of the day and the stories unfolding in front of me. It felt like the perfect fit and I’ve never looked back.
