I think couple photos are really important!
So many couples tell me "We hate having our photo taken!" which is why I keep couple portraits really relaxed and natural, giving a tiny bit of direction when needed. This doesn’t mean cheesy grins and awkward poses, just natural & romantic photos of you both together being yourselves and capturing your love! This is also the perfect moment for you to take some time together away from guests... taking in the fact you just got married! Having a pre-wedding shoot with me, before your wedding day, is a great way of getting rid of any nerves you may have and gets you used to being in front of the camera.
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I can remember my dad buying me my first camera before a trip to London. I was about 5 and it was a film camera and it came with a camera bag with sheep on! I would always be taking photos on my dad's slightly 'fancier' camera too. I can remember being at my uncle's wedding and spending the whole evening reception taking lots of photos. Then I got a digital camera for my 12th birthday and I would say that's when my serious interest in photography started. I studied art & design at college and it was there that my love for photography grew. After that, I went to Northampton university and proudly graduated with a BA (hons) degree in Photographic Practice.
Fast forward to now, I‘m in my 9th year of photographing weddings and I have been lucky enough to photograph so many truly amazing weddings.
