Amwell Studio Who are we... Based in the town of Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire and run by John Yates, Amwell Studio has been creating photographic memories since 1984. Since that time they have continuously strived to stay at the top of their field and have photographed more weddings, created more family portraits and designed more modelling & fashion portfolios than most other photographic studios can boast. Their location puts Amwell Studio in the ideal position to provide photographic services in London, Hertfordshire and Essex. Amwell Studio is keen to be a part of the local community and regularly contribute by offering help wherever possible. John founded and has run Amwell Studio successfully for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of wedding, portrait and commercial photography, combining a wealth of experience with the added benefit of ensuring he always keeps up with current trends. Communication with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds also allows him to give his clients the exact style of photography that they are looking for without fail. As a long standing member of the British Institute of Professional Photography' (BIPP) and of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP), John takes pride in the fact that he is a true professional photographer. His photographic style consists of flattering camera angles and modern lighting techniques that compliment every subject he shoots. His wedding photographs are always full of expression and depict the Love & Joy that is always apparent on the day. Above all else John prides himself on being approachable yet completely professional. He always strives for perfection in his photography and knows that clients will recognise that he loves creating happy memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
