Ami’s style is creative documentary photography—she focuses on the moments as they happen, without interrupting you or your guests. While she’ll capture the classic group and couple shots, her true passion lies in the candid, in-between moments that show genuine connections and emotions. The result is a beautiful collection of images that let you relive the laughter, love, and joy for years to come.
Ami loves partnering with couples who want their wedding day to reflect who they truly are. She builds a personal connection with every couple, becoming a natural part of the day to capture its authenticity. As a queer wedding photographer, Ami is dedicated to creating meaningful memories for all couples, celebrating love in every form.
All of my weddings have been incredibly memorable! I am so fortunate that every single one of my couples over the years have been totally in love and made a point of making their wedding as individual and as awesome as they are. It would be impossible to say who was the most memorable.
Authentic, honest, timeless and documentary with a traditional twist.
I am mega proud of the level of service my clients receive. I only shoot 20 weddings a year and no more than 2 a month so waiting times for the final photos is within 4 weeks and emails are always replied to promptly. Couples always become my friends and the experience of working with me is a personal one.
Enjoy it. You only get to do do this once and the whole experience should be amazing and fun. It's something you should do together and put your personal stamp on. And never forget the reason you are getting married is because you have found your soulmate, the person you want to grow old with.
Probably all the amazing speeches I get to witness. I have seen so many that have made me cry and laugh, they are such a wonderful part of the day because it's a time to reflect on the relationship the couple have built not only with themselves but with the two families coming together.
Usually initial contact is made and then I reply with a massive congratulations and my collections brochure along with a few full weddings to have a browse of so they can get a real feel of my work. Next stage is a proper chat which is either in person or by Skype dependant on location. Once a decision is made then the contract and booking fee is sorted to secure the date. I always add my clients on Facebook if they are on there so they can keep up to date with me and my work. A month before the wedding final payment is made and we discuss the final timings of the day and their group photo list. We then have the wedding which is always amazing and then a preview blog post follows a couple of days later. The final photos are delivered within 4 weeks both on a online gallery to download in high resolution so they can easily share the photos with friends and family. After that the album design is done with the couples in put and they get a huge choice of covers.
Confetti :) it's always amazing and colourful and fun!
I once had 5 generations of women from the brides family, such a special photo and that's why I always get the couples in put with their group photos.
A bold and brave attitude. Rain doesn't stop you from getting amazing photos, in fact rain can create amazing photos plus we all know it's good luck for the marriage
A creative journey. I have always loved taking photos and I have spent years developing my skill alongside a tireless passion for people in love. Weddings was a natural transition and the whole experience has been incredible.
