Located in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, Amelia Jacob Photography specializes in capturing weddings with warmth and elegance. Amelia’s natural, romantic style focuses on your unique love story, preserving the genuine moments that make your day unforgettable. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, her goal is to document the real emotions and spontaneous memories that define your wedding.
Amelia’s approach is relaxed, personal, and centered around you. From your first consultation, she listens carefully to your vision and what matters most to you as a couple. On the wedding day, she works unobtrusively, blending into the background to capture laughter, tears, and joy as they naturally unfold. Her calm and friendly presence helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera, resulting in authentic images that truly reflect your personalities and love.
Every wedding is unique, so Amelia offers flexible collections to fit your plans and budget. Whether you want full-day coverage or just a few hours, there’s a package to suit your celebration’s size and style.
All full-day wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session—a relaxed chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. After your wedding, you’ll receive a beautifully edited collection of high-resolution images that tell the complete story of your celebration, from start to finish.
Creative, timeless, traditional, detail-orientated, romantic
I built it and it is me, every photograph I take I put my heart and soul into.
Remember what your wedding is truly about - the two of you
Photographs of family, childhoods and the departed decorating the reception venue.
I usually speak with prospective brides and grooms via social media or email initially and then arrange a face to face meeting if requested. I love meeting you face to face so I can get to know you and hear about your plans for your day. I include a pre-wedding photoshoot in my wedding photography package as it helps to get to know each other more and helps you to relax in front of the camera by going through some of the poses we might use on the day. You can also use this time to tell me what you do and don't like so I can tailor my service to meet your needs. Finally a pre-wedding consultation is arranged at the wedding venue about a week before the ceremony to go through the timings and plans for the day and to have a walk around together and talk about places you might like to have photographs taken.
A photo of you looking into each others eyes, one that shows your personalities and the emotions of the day. Natural, romantic and the one you'll have on your wall for years to come.
Umbrellas and a good sense of humour!
I became a family photographer after my son was born 6 years ago. I am self taught on the whole, although I have and still do attend courses to enhance my knowledge and challenge myself - its good to always strive to improve! Having been a family and portrait photographer for 6 years I decided to take the dive into wedding photography. I love weddings! The emotions, the excitement, the details! Its so amazing to be asked to capture the story of a wedding day. This is now my third year photographing weddings and I've got some really exciting weddings booked in. I only book 10-12 weddings each year so I can really put my heart and soul into my work and ensure that I'm capturing your day in a truly honest, creative and romantic style.
