Our approach combines natural documentary photography with an editorial eye. We want your photographs to feel elegant, timeless and beautifully composed, while still feeling like your wedding and the people who shared it with you.

Much of the day is photographed as it naturally unfolds — the laughter, reactions, quiet moments and unexpected things that make your celebration unique. When it comes to your couple portraits, we'll give you gentle guidance and direction so you never feel left wondering what to do.

Absolutely. Most couples tell us they're not used to being in front of a camera, and you don't need to be.

Our job is to make you feel comfortable, not turn your wedding day into a photoshoot. We'll get to know you before the wedding and give you as much guidance as you need. There's no expectation to perform or spend the day posing for photographs.

When we're creating your portraits, we'll gently guide you into beautiful light and natural positions, then give you space to relax and be yourselves.

We'll be there when you need us - helping organise family photographs, gently guiding you during portraits and making sure we capture the important moments - but we also know when to step back.

Full-day coverage allows us to capture the anticipation of the morning, the ceremony, time with your family and friends, your portraits and the celebrations as the evening begins. We also offer additional coverage for longer days or couples who would like us to stay later into the celebrations.

We'll talk through your plans with you and help make sure the coverage suits the rhythm of your day.

Not every wedding needs a second photographer, but for some celebrations it can add another valuable perspective.

A second photographer can be particularly useful for larger weddings, when preparations are taking place in different locations, or when you'd like more comprehensive coverage of your guests and celebrations.

We'll happily talk through your plans and give you honest advice about whether we think a second photographer would add value to your wedding.

Every wedding is different, so we don't believe in reducing your memories to a fixed number of photographs.

We carefully select and edit the images that best tell the complete story of your day. You'll receive a generous collection of finished photographs, including the important moments you expect and the smaller moments you may not have seen.

Our focus is always on quality and storytelling rather than delivering hundreds of near-identical images simply to reach a number.

Yes. Before your wedding, we'll take the time to understand your plans, priorities and the things that matter most to you.

We'll help you think about timings for family photographs, portraits and the parts of the day you'd particularly like us to capture. We can work alongside your venue, wedding planner and other suppliers to make sure photography fits naturally into the day.

Our aim isn't to create a rigid schedule around photographs. It's to plan things well enough that you can relax and enjoy yourselves.

Yes. Although we're based in Yorkshire and particularly love photographing weddings across Harrogate, York and Yorkshire's beautiful venues, we're happy to travel further afield.
