Every wedding I have done is memorable and unique
Timeless, beautiful, natural, warm, sentimental
More than anything I am proud of the fact that my business has mainly grown by word of mouth from other couples/families I have photographed, or people have seen how I work at an event and have recommended me to their families and friends.
Ask around! A lot of your friends/families will have been to a wedding or planned one themselves. Book someone who is well known in the industry as there are a lot of scam wedding suppliers so this would be my number one tip when planning your day!
I've had a lot of Brides put their own detail into their day, making their own favours, table plans, gifts for their wedding party, etc But I think the most lovely personal touch is when they have provided all the suppliers on the day with a little thank you note and some refreshments/snacks to get them through their wedding day.
I'd find out the details first, send you a quote, if your happy we'd have an opportunity to FaceTime/zoom or meet over coffee, and then we'd meet before your wedding to finalise details, we'd also email in-between to see how your plans are progressing.
One with their parents/grandparents.
Where the Bride wanted to see the Groom and their baby son before the ceremony to help calm all of their nerves on the day.
Welly boots and umbrellas, but we can always take indoor photos if venue space allows. If outdoors finding a spot that is covered also helps.
I've been taking photos since I was a wee lass, so it's kind of engrained in my heart.
