I have had been to so many amazing weddings with so many brilliant couples but Shra and Neil's Scottish Indian wedding was one of the most memorable. I loved them as a couple and it was really memorable as I got invited along to Shra's Henna night the night before the wedding. Their wedding was just so unique and fun and totally them from the board game cake to the very lively ceilidh in the stunning city chambers. They really brought all their personality to the day but also kept it relaxed and fun.

That my clients love their photos, say they enjoyed the experience and had an amazing wedding day.
Don't overthink things & prioritise enjoying yourself!
I love couples who break the rules and don't think they have to do something because convention dictates they should.
Olivia and Tom had the most beautiful personal table settings. They chose a record for each person, they also had a shell personalised with the guests name with the record. They wanted to give their guests a sustainable gift that they would enjoy and they had really thought about which record would suit each guest. They look brilliant.
I like to check we get along first, it's so important that the couple feel comfortable with their photographer.
I like to have a meeting before a couple book, where we can go through their ideas & timings. Once they've booked and we've got all the formal paperwork and things done I encourage them to stay in touch with me on social media. We can get to know each other a bit before the day and they know where I am if they have any questions.
Most couples opt for a little engagement shoot which is about getting comfortable in front of the camera and getting some lovely photos somewhere special.
We then have a planning meeting a wee while before the wedding and make a plan for their day. This means that on the day, we're on the same page and don't have to think about things. We can all relax and enjoy the day!
I love getting to know people and love my job!
A natural photo of them being themselves and having fun.
One of the first weddings I went to had a horse who came along to the reception so that photo was pretty special.
Umbrellas and perhaps a leather jacket. The clear umbrellas are great!
I always loved taking photographs as a kid and after university my first job was in publicity, I learnt lots in that job about photography and editing.
I also loved business and always dreamed of having my own business.
For years I did photography as a hobby whilst working as a food scientist and then one day I was asked to second shoot for a friends photography business, and from that, I got asked to shoot my first wedding and I've never looked back!
