Ali truly made our wedding so special to us. She felt like a big sister and everyone felt so comfortable with her presence. Everything was so natural, nothing felt staged or cringy. I normally hate my photo being taken, so I was truly scared to see what I’d look like in the pictures. And to my surprise, there isn’t one photo I disliked, she truly captured who we are as people, our raw emotions. I find myself looking at them a lot, she took the best day of my life and froze every feeling we felt in time. And I’m so grateful I get to cherish these forever. Ali, we are forever grateful for the art you bring to the world, we couldn’t have done this without you. Miss you greatly.

Ali was amazing! We got married during one of the lockdowns and ended up with some absolutely INCREDIBLE photos around Edinburgh. Ali was great the whole time, super responsive in the lead up to the wedding date, really easy to work with on the day itself, and kept being very responsive afterwards as well. The quality of her photos is amazing and I love her mix of posed and candid shots. Absolutely recommend going with her for your wedding.

Ali was absolutely amazing as our photographer. From the minute we met her she put us at our ease. She took a few engagement shots to let us see her work & we loved them. She was an integral part of our wedding day, blending in with us all. We were all so relaxed that our true expressions shone through. She documented our entire day so beautifully. Her photos show so much emotion we’ve relived the day over & over. Ali created a short, 6 minute, montage of our day in a photo “video” that encapsulated the fun & energy that we all shared through the day. She is a truly brilliant photographer.

I wanted to share a recommendation for a photographer- Ali Jay Photography. My husband and I got married at the end of June in the first week that weddings became legal again. We had originally planned to have a big wedding at the end of June but Covid changed our plans somewhat! Our photographer captured the most stunning photos of our day, beyond anything I could have hoped for, especially given how last minute and low key our plans were. After over 3 months of lockdown with a fair bit of comfort eating and no access to the gym I was a bit concerned about how we might all look in the photos but she’s caught us all beautifully (if I do say so myself!) She was an absolute joy to have around and our friends even thought she was an extra pal that we had invited along. We’re still planning to have a wedding party next year and she will be doing the photos for that too, I can’t wait to see how she captures that.

Lovely egg Ali Jay Edward for making someone who ‘doesn’t really like wedding pictures’ 🤣 love wedding pictures. I can’t recommend her enough. She was brilliant.

Ali was amazing, we don't like having photos taken but we knew for our special day it had to be done. We told Ali this and she made it really easy for us. Ali also got on well with everyone especially the kids as they trusted her and we got some great natural photos of them.
