Alex Knight Photography Full Description
We are Alex & Sophie, a Husband and Wife team who love working together to ensure that everyone gets the very best images from their photography. We live in Leeds with our young daughter Agnes who reminds us daily why beautiful photographs of those we love matter so much.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone enjoys the experience of being photographed by us and we love knowing that we are capturing beautiful images that our happy culients will enjoy for years to come. We always aim to adapt our personal style to our clients tastes and we will never dictate to you, but listen to what you want and advise the best ways to create this.
Our general approach to your Wedding Photography is photo journalistic in style, blending in to the events as they unfold. We will be in attendance for the whole day to ensure that nothing is missed, capturing your day from start to finish in an unobtrusive style.
We will discuss with you a time and location to ensure that you get the traditional family group photos (we recommend no more than 10 to allow your day to flow) as well as finding time to shoot some stunning Bride and Groom Portraits. Our Wedding Photography package always includes a USB stick of the images from your day with a license for you to make your own prints. We also offer a range of beautiful Wedding Albums and printed products to allow you to customise our packages to suit your requirements.

What is your most memorable wedding?
A weekend long "festival" wedding at a Glamping site in Wales, inc a Trash the Dress shoot!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't feel you have to fill every minute of the day, your guests will enjoy some time to just chat and mingle!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Tables named after places the couple went on dates, with table centres made out of maps of those locations.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We like to try and get to know our couples during their wedding planning, that way we can find out about their style and capture their wedding in a more personal way.
We normally meet for an initial consultation prior to booking, giving couples the chance to view our sample albums and discuss their plans.
After this we will meet them at least once for a meeting 1 month before the wedding, this is normally arranged at the venue and allows us to make plans for the day so that we know the main events, times and locations.
We also provide the option of a Pre-Wedding shoot which is another great chance to spend an hour or so with our couples getting to know them while they get to experience being photographed so that they are much more relaxed on the big day.
On the day we will be smartly dressed and always get complimented on our interactions with guests and the little things that we do to help the day run smoothly (transporting bridesmaids, carrying flowers, pinning on button holes etc). We try to blend in to the environment so that we can capture the candid moments and many couples compliment us on being discreet throughout their day. We do however have no problems being more assertive when we need to such as arranging your formal group photos.
After the wedding we guarantee to edit your images and deliver the final gallery within 6 weeks. We provide all our couples with at least 300 fully edited images in an online gallery and include a personalised USB containing the images shortly after.
For clients who opt to include an Album in their package we provide a face to face image selection meeting and help them in selecting and designing their album to tell the story of their day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
We always ask out couples for around 45 mins during their day for their beautiful Bride & Groom portraits (in perhaps 2 or 3 sessions)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace the weather and if needs be get the dress a little wet!!
Describe how you got into photography.
It was my personal passion, which I went to college to improve my knowledge and ended up starting our business shortly after!
