Planning your wedding means capturing every heartfelt moment—and that’s exactly what Adam Joe Roberts Photography does best. Based in Cheshire, this husband-and-wife duo, Adam and Joanna, specialize in telling your unique wedding story through beautiful, natural images. Their focus is on candid moments and genuine emotions, preserving memories you’ll treasure forever.
Adam approaches your wedding with the care and attention he would want for his own. Blending seamlessly into your day like a trusted guest, he captures authentic interactions without interrupting the flow. About 90% of the photos are candid—showing real laughter, tears, and joy as they happen—while the remaining 10% are carefully composed family portraits. The result is a collection full of feeling and personality, letting you relive your special day again and again.
From your first consultation to receiving your beautifully edited images, Adam and Joanna provide a relaxed, supportive experience. They take time to get to know you, helping you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Their all-day coverage means they’re with you from bridal preparations in the morning through to the first dance at night. Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek of around five images on your wedding day itself.
With years of experience, Adam knows how important your wedding photography is. His goal is to create a timeless collection that tells the story of you, your family, and your friends celebrating together—memories you’ll cherish forever.
My first, I was so nervous! Good job it was my close friends. Everything went fine, I got all the shots I wanted but more so I saw a lot of shots that happened in the blink of an eye. From then on I told myself, they are the moments I going to try and capture!

Im proud of how I photograph weddings. I shoot them how I wish my wedding was shot. I don't follow trend, I follow what happens on the day. I look for moments and try to create a story around you, your family and your guests.
Book early! Don't be disappointed in any decision you make.
I offer Polaroid pictures to you and your guests, it's such a personal touch for you to your guests.
Get to know each other, have fun, smile, laugh and then on your day you will fell 100% more comfortable with me. This will then show in your images. If you're relaxed with your photographer it will make such a difference to your images!
There isn't a #1 photo. TAKE AS MANY AS YOU CAN! make memories, make moments, make times you cant forget. the more photos you take the more memories you have!
I don't tent to get asked. I document your wedding, I cant document a posed shot that well. Yes I cover the group shot, the ones granny wants on her fire place. but the rest of the day it plain story telling.
The amount of time spent outside on your wedding is minimal, less that you would imaging. Its part of my job as a photographer to keep an eye on the sky! When there is a break in the rain thats when I get involved and let you know its time to enjoy the sun!
When I got married I payed a friend who had a half decent camera to shoot my wedding. I looked at the images once and not looked at them since! I was so upset, moment me and my family cant ever look back on. I thought it cant be that hard, soon I realised it was REALLY hard! I learnt my trade, I shoot wedding how I wished my images looked. It seams to work and I love every minute of it!!
