Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Artistic, authentic, fun, positive, high quality
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am often told that I have a great energy and attitude. This is definitely something I pride myself in. I have a very relaxing approach to make you feel at ease and I'm always here to help!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay organised! I always advise my couples to create a separate wedding email address, and even separate bank account if possible. This way all your payments and correspondence will be coming from one place and you won't be pulling your hair out a month before the wedding trying to find paperwork!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Centrepieces and table layouts show so much of a couple's personality. I love all the little details and personal touches!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always recommend meeting before the day so we can iron out any important details. This is the opportunity for you to get to know me and to ask any questions you have, and I will go through any information I need to know about your day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Absolutely the traditional shot of the two of you, and a photo showing the back of the dress. These are traditional for a reason! Every one of your close family will want a copy of these so they are must-haves for the day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I was asked by a couple to retouch one of their photos to include elements from Jurassic Park, including dinosaurs and volcanoes. It was great fun!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it and make the most of it! There are some awesome shots we can get in the rain ( I always bring a big dome umbrella for some cool shots), and you know what they say about rain and good luck!
Describe how you got into photography.
Photography and art has always been a passion of mine that I love to share with others. I have been a photographer for 10 years, starting out as a portrait and music photographer initially, then working as an interior photographer around the South East; you may have seen examples of my work in many estate agency windows! I also do private photography lessons both for children and adults and I love researching the history of art and photography. I studied at Bournemouth Arts University and have a BA Hons in Commercial Photography. I am also a member of the Royal Photographic Society.
