Weddings shouldn't be stressful, and neither should be planning one.
My name is Aaron, I have been photographing weddings for the last five years, and this year it was a great honour to win my first North Of England Wedding Award for North East wedding photographer of the year.
When I first started photographing weddings, I so realised that I wanted to do something different. I love weddings, but the industry can sometimes feel a little stuffy. So I tried to bring my passion for landscape photography into my work and mix it with the enjoyment I get from people watching.
You might have heard the term candid or documentary photography thrown around a lot. I do class my work as candid, but the way I work is very different.
For me, the best way to get those fun, natural photos that you will treasure so much is to get involved. How will you ever relax if you don't feel comfortable with me? The best way for you and your guests to open up and be natural is for me to be a part of your day.
What does that mean?
Well, I don't mind making the brews; I can put buttonholes on and move your bags from room to room. I become a guest......with a camera.
There's no posing, no forced smiles, no awkward photos!
My photos tell your story. They are 100% real.
Above I also mentioned about my love for landscape photography. I love the outdoors. Walking init, photographing it, camping and biking, I'm happiest when I'm surrounded by nature.
During every wedding, if possible, I try and get you outside and get a BIG photo. One that showcases you and the place you said your vows. I want to get away from the traditional lawn photos and produce something special for you. So let get our walking boots on, and make something magical that no one will have.
If you are getting married, love the outdoors, are on an adventure of a lifetime, or maybe just looking for something a little different, I would love to chat with you.
