What is your most memorable wedding?
Hmm now that's a difficult one as there are so many to choose from! Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing one of our lovely and beautiful couples wedding at the 17th century Orleans House Gallery, in the Octagon room, in London. Apart from the stunning, historic venue, we loved seeing two families from two different cultures coming together to celebrate two people who are very much in love.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, timeless, real, unobtrusive, colourful
What about your business are you most proud of?
We remain continually proud of being picked by our couples to be a part of their special day. We are always touched by the fact that they chose us to tell their story. We are also proud to know that our efforts, handwork, communication and personality has only enhanced our couples' experience of wedding planning which is always nice to hear!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always stay true to who you are and what you truly want to experience in your important, special day x
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Want to pick us as your photographers? Great! We will give you a quick call within 24 hours of you contacting us (or a suitable time for you) to have a brief chat on the phone to find out more about you, your wedding day, and what you are looking for - and it's a good way for you to know who we are too. Once booked (yay!), we then have a pre-wedding consultation meeting (via zoom or in person). This is where we get to know you more and to find out more about what makes you unique. It's always a great way for us to learn more about your personalities, your style, and what parts of the wedding such as cultural wedding customs you are keen for us to capture. It is also a great way for you to ask us any of your burning questions!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The confetti shot! We love capturing couples walking out of the venue with colourful confetti thrown at them by their friends and family. It's fun and exciting and one where the guest can really get involved, and of course, the pictures are always colourful and fun ;)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella! We can still take some amazing, cool photos in the rain with a bit of shelter from the wonderful umbrella :)
Describe how you got into photography.
Halema:
I discovered my love for photography when I was an acne-prone teenager playing with film cameras and intricate machines in dark rooms. Digital photography was always a little daunting for me as a kid (why so many buttons!?) but I soon got stuck into it and loved it!
Krystel:
My love for photography started about 15 years ago when I attended a friend's wedding. I was lucky enough to test out one of my friend's DSLR camera, taking a few snaps of the beautiful day. Soon after, I brought my first ever Compact System Camera (which I still use for travel today!)
