Personalising. It's the most romantic and emotional day of your life where all you get are memories, so I ensure that those memories are perfect by planning it to perfection!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always take a little time out every hour to be alone together - whether for a glass of champagne, a quick kiss or a romantic stroll, make time to remind yourself you are now married to your best friend!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couple had a piece of artwork in their house that they loved - They got it blown up onto a huge canvas and then put paints out for people to paint - so they have a bespoke piece of artwork to remind them of their special day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Working together - From their initial enquiry we start planning how I can help make their ideas into reality. Whether it be something simple as using the black setup instead of the white because it fits the venue better, or going through the music that is dear to you to ensure that music reflects who you are.
What makes a romantic first dance?
The crowd - I always get the audience to stand around the edge of the dancefloor so that the couple aren't just on their own.
That way, when it's time for them to join the newlyweds the guests only have to take one step forward.
